This is how witchcraft works.

A young man puts his own picture on his own timeline and boasts that he is fine and accomplished in life; therefore, all the ladies trying to date him or asking to date him in his DM were of inferior stock to him.

He didn't mention anybody's name

Why did it trigger some ladies?

Ladies do this all the time on this app

Some go as far as to post the screenshot of someone who came into their DM online to shame the person for daring to do so

Some boast of the caliber of men they can date,and this is a common saying, "I cannot date a broke man, or If you don't have money, you are not fit to date anyone etc"

Why don't they just leave the young man alone to have his fun? Isn't it a free world? Isn't it his right to express himself freely as long as he didn't do so to infringe the rights of other people?

The responses to his post have been funny. Some insulted his sisters, some insulted his family, and some insulted him.

Males and females all came for him

They wanted to silence him or teach him a lesson.

Why?

Witchcraft.

Some of those who have issues with him are married and accomplished. They were not even in the sect he was supposedly being braggadocious to, but they also jumped into the discussion for relevance.

Witchcraft moves exactly like that

Some are trying very hard to insult the young man's legacy, rubbish his family name and reduce the glory of the family to shame through their words.

They wanted him to think himself small and doubt his worth

They didn't know it, but that is how witchcraft works.

African witchcraft has been so powerful over the years that many people are afraid to declare their success in their villages and hometowns.

I know grown men who are very rich in Lagos and Abuja, but whenever they have an occasion to visit their villages, they would dress in faded local fabrics and wear slippers with holes in them so that they can avoid the probing eyes of witches.

The same is seen playing out on social media in the last few days

If he wrote something on his timeline and you went to comment on it, you are the aggressor!

If he pushes back when you come at him, it is his right.

It is his timeline, his domain; you are the witches, and you need to stop.
