Strange Special Treatment

October 10, 2024. I remember waking up at about 4:30 am to a strange voice speaking in my ears. The voice was saying, “I will destroy everything he has built, I will ruin his name, I will drag him on social media, and I will do whatever it takes me destroy him. I know he is powerful and will fight back, so once I have started the fire, I will kill myself and compound his problem. Nobody will believe his defense once I am gone.” I heard it clearly, we were to have a 5 AM devotion online that day, and I joined the devotion immediately and told the saints who were awake to pray I said someone is plotting a deep evil against me, and the Lord has revealed it to me. I wanted the desire to plot the evil and the evil itself to be nipped in the bud.

We prayed. Later that day, I got a message. It was from a Christian sister, she said she was angry with me and would do anything to bring me down I asked her what I did wrong She said she had bought the sniper she would drink, written her suicide note, and deliberately mentioned the names of five people close to me and their highly elevated offices in society in the letter so that they would all answer questions to the court of public sympathy after her death.

What was my crime? She said she will not mention the crime unless we see and talk face-to-face. She sent a picture of her letter of resignation to me, claiming she had resigned in case I plan to get back to her through her job “I have resigned, and I am committed to this plan, so don’t think you can wriggle your way out of it. We must meet to talk, or you are done for in this world.” I said OKAY, Where are you? She said Victoria Island in Lagos I said I am also in Lagos, in a hotel on Victoria Island with my family. What time do you want to meet with us? She said, “It is you I want to meet with; if I see any family member there, I will walk away and do everything I have planned to do.” I said “Okay” We fixed the meeting for 2 pm. When I was done with her call, I began to laugh. My wife was puzzled She said it was not a laughing matter I said I was laughing because the Holy Spirit brought the issue to me almost five hours before this lady called It means the case was serious and deserved my attention It means she meant to truly carry out her threat, but was somehow disarmed by our prayer. The devilish intention to commit suicide had been thwarted.

The second stage is to handle her with wisdom and find out what the issue was. As I was about to get into the elevator to meet with her, the Holy Spirit said to me, “Don’t be smart, don’t be cocky, whatever she wants, give it to her and let her leave with joy.” When it was two pm, I went to the reception of the hotel, I scanned through the crowd and saw this lady I knew, she was the one because the moment our eyes met, she recognized me.  I chose a seat close to the exit and sat there. A few seconds later, she left where she was and walked up to me. She said, “Do you know me? Have we ever met before?” I said "No". She said, “And you ruined my life, without even meeting me or knowing me. You ruined my life!” I asked her how.

So, this lady was married with a son. Her husband helped her secure a job with an engineering firm as an accountant. She was not earning much, but she was determined to write her ICAN and joined the big earners. Her husband didn’t have the resources to sponsor her for the ICAN tutorials, and she was determined to pass that exam. So she approached her boss at work, who was a chartered accountant, for help. The boss told her they would be meeting twice a week for two-hour lessons, and she agreed. They began meeting in hotels, and ICAN tutorials gave way to sex. It became a full-blown affair with a lot of WhatsApp messages, lies, and deceit. Her husband suspected that she was cheating on him and reached out to me. We prayed, and I told him he would know the truth the following Tuesday, if he would drive to a particular hotel and wait in his car for thirty minutes while paying attention to the entrance of the hotel. He drove there and waited. He saw a car park and his wife, and her boss alighted and walked into the hotel. He recorded them on the phone. He also waited until they emerged two hours later While they were in the room, he got all the details he needed regarding the room they lodged in and other details. The following Saturday, she told him she was going to the wedding of a colleague from their office. He suspected she was using it as an excuse to meet with her lover. By this time, he had gained access to her WhatsApp messages and saw how she and her boss talked about him and other things. He knew she was cheating.

While she was away that day, he took their only son, packed his clothes and other things the two of them might need, and left the home and the marriage. He left her only a note, stating that he knew she was sleeping with her boss and wished her well. He also sent all the evidence he had to her parents and other siblings. He didn’t leave a forwarding address, and he told no one where he had gone to. The mistake he made was mentioning my name as the one he prayed with, who told him to go and wait for her at a particular location. This was how I became the enemy. She said her parents reached out to her bosses at her office, and her boss had to cut ties with her, so she had lost out on both sides. Husband had left with her son, her lover also abandoned her without paying for ICAN or giving her ICAN tutorials as planned, and it was all my fault. I asked her what she wanted. She said she needed to pay her rent, also to register for ICAN tutorials, and secure another job. I called some friends and got her a job. I sent her the money for her rent and ICAN tutorials, I also sent her some money as pocket money to keep body and soul together.

The meeting lasted for two hours, when she had gotten everything, she wanted, she stood up, looked at me, and said, “You are a very wise man. I came here with acid and a knife. I planned to kill you and destroy you as you have done to me, but you have been so kind and understanding. You have been so human. It was not what I thought I would meet that I met. I kept quiet, she stood up and left. I heaved a sigh of relief.

When I got back to my room, my wife was still praying Awwwwwnnn!!! She was scared this Ojuju lady could hurt her husband. I hugged her and thanked her for her prayers. Then, I told her everything that happened I have kept far away from the lady and her issues since that day. Her husband or ex-husband tried reaching out, but I didn’t dare respond. She also tried to reach out, but I ignored her. Do you know why? God would usually defend me and crush all opposition before me on any issue. I have seen this done several times. In this case however, God made me treat her with dignity and respect despite her misbehavior. It means she is the daughter of someone God respects, or she carries something important to God’s plan, or is of special interest to God in a certain manner. Since God didn’t explain to me who she was and why he made me give her everything she demanded, despite the fact that I did nothing wrong, I decided it would be wise to keep far away from her and whatever issues she and her family were going through.

PS: Fingers are not equal before God, your relationship with God counts for something even over your children. Your relationship with God counts for something when huge decisions are being made regarding destiny and appropriations, I know of what I speak. I have seen what good standing with God translates to in terms of favour and positioning by the Spirit. The things of the spirit are not as simple as the undiscerning are made to believe
