Convinced?

A man of conviction is not at the mercy of circumstances.

Those who preach the finished work of Christ out of
 personal conviction preach it consistently, while 
others who are not yet convinced follow the trend 
by preaching it during Easter and afterwards preach 
the law.

Convinced?

With all the troubles that Apostle Paul encountered in life
 and ministry, he maintained that God loved him, 
and said that nothing and no man or spirit was powerful 
enough to convince him otherwise.
He also believed that the Believers are more than conquerors 
no matter the circumstance.
Romans 8:35-39.
John the beloved, believed so much that Jesus Christ loved 
him that he referred to himself as "the disciple whom 
Jesus loved".
John 13:23.
John 19:26.
John 21:7,20,24.

When he was banished to Patmos Island later in life at old age 
for the testimony of Jesus Christ, he wasn't bitter towards God 
and Jesus Christ.
In that circumstance, he still referred to Jesus Christ as 
"THE FAITHFUL WITNESS" and "HIM THAT LOVED US".
Revelation 1:5.

Effective?
For your utterance to be effective, your projections as 
a spirit must be directly from the Spirit.
When you receive projections in the Spirit and give utterance 
to them, they manifest! otherwise, you are speaking to the winds... 
empty words!

Understand ye it?
Understanding of God's love gives us peace even in the 
midst of problems.
Always rely on the unchanging love of God!

Comprende? 
The Holy Spirit is not religious, He is the teacher of the simplicity 
that is in Christ

Your message or the gospel?
Most ministers are in another gospel under the idea that 
"every man has his own message".
So your message now takes precedence over Christ and 
Him crucified?

The Holy Spirit is a Person that has FEELINGS!
When you learn to make Him your priority, 
He shows you deep secrets... ancient secrets.... 
secrets of the very beginning.... secrets of thousands 
of years ago.
Its gonna look like you were on the scene of action 
as everything plays for you to see.
Most people think speaking in tongues is all that 
it is to the Spirit of God
They just don't know

Carnal Strategies?
We put the pictures of Luxury Cars, Dollars, Beautiful 
Mansions etc on our "Evangelism Tracts", and wonder 
why our "Converts" are carnal and materialistic instead 
of being spiritually minded.
We started it all!

Consistent? 
EASTER is here again. You will hear many sermons title 
from mixers of law and grace like:

THE VICTORY OF THE CROSS.

JESUS PAID IN FULL.

IT IS FINISHED.

HIS DEATH IS YOUR DEATH.

ETERNAL REDEMPTION OBTAINED.

THE POWER OF THE CROSS.

THE BLOOD OF THE NEW COVENANT.

CHRIST HAS REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW.

Then, a week after:

WILL A MAN ROB GOD? YET YOU HAVE ROBBED ME, YOU ARE UNDER A CURSE!

GOD IS TAKING RECORD OF ALL YOUR SINS.

But Pastor, i thought last week you said Christ has 
redeemed us from the curse of the law, so how are 
we cursed again?

You also said Christ has obtained eternal redemption 
for us and he is not counting our sins, why are you 
saying God keeps the record of sin again?

Know Your Worth?
If you know your worth as a child of God, no mortal 
man can intimidate you.
No earthly ruler or world's richest man that is not born 
again can intimidate a child of God that knows his worth.

When Apostle Paul was brought before King Agrippa for a hearing, 
although the man of God was in chains, he looked at the king 
seated on the throne in his royal apparel and said:
"O king, I wish you were like me (born again), 
except these chains."
Acts 26:28-29.
O, what a mentality!
Do you really know your worth as a child of God?
PS: The spiritually matured make decisions based on conviction not convenience.

Humbled? 
What has happened to our walk with Christ? 
Where did we get all the conditions we have laid down for him? 
I remember years ago 
when I lacked illumination, my mother would say 
“ You have the call of God upon your life” and I will say 
“ Don’t speak for God, can’t God speak for himself? 
If He wants to locate me, He knows where to find me! 
I said all that with all the bravado a fool could muster! 
Until the day I saw Him, Lord Jesus! Lord Jesus!!
 Lord Jesus!!! 
The dawn full of dread and glory! 
The foolishness in me picked race! 
I became an instant coward! 
It is a terrible thing indeed to fall into God’s hand! 
I was in the final year at the time! 
I spent all my time watching "24" and "Prison Break"! 
I had resigned to making a 2:1, 
there was nothing to go to class for! 
My mates were writing their projects but
 I had completed my project
 in my head! I knew I could finish the project in one day! 
So I stopped all religious activities and started 
plotting how to make it in life after school. 
I didn’t know my time was running out. 
My mother called! Son, you are in danger! 
I saw you mercilessly 
being torn to pieces by God! Yay! I laughed it off! 
My mother is the chief scribe of the Holy Spirit, 
she hears clearly from Him but haba! Is God a wild bear? 
Which kain talk be that? 
I went to the bathroom to have my bath, I fell violently! 
It was as if I was pushed! Kai! 
I dressed up and started going 
to the cafeteria to have breakfast! 
As soon as my feet stepped
 on the staircase, I was "pushed" again! 
I fell all the way down! I sprained my arm, my left arm! 
A sudden dread fell on me! My mother called again, 
“Son, he says you said it will be your way or no way! 
He said you dared him to speak if he had a mouth! 
He said he has been speaking to you. Can you hear him? 
What did he say? 
I started stammering! 
Big hard-hearted boy like me! Small fall in the bathroom! 
A little somersault on the staircase, 
the heart of stone was shedding tears! 
! I couldn’t speak!
 My mother said “Just come home let us go and see 
"Pastor So and so together”!
 I finally found my voice, I said 
“Please ma don’t let me travel now, 
He will kill me on the way” 
My mother kept quiet. 
She lay what I said sink in. 
She said “So you know what I have been saying to 
be the truth! I couldn’t deny it! 
I was shaken from the core! I just kept crying! 
I began to watch my step after then, 
I didn’t want to experience and sudden 
accident or push! 
That night as I was sleeping He walked in! 
Fear killed me! I practically died of fear! 
I had lost my appetite since the tumble down the stairs. 
I thought hunger was making me hallucinate! 
He said “You dare summon me to grovel before your altar? 
You dare me to come speak to you by myself? Here I am”
My body was shaking all over! My skin was tingling. 
All I could do was cry! 
His presence didn’t just break me, it grounded me to powder”
The next morning, Mr Selfmade had repented! 
Who is the elephant killing hunter besides the man killing hunter?
 He didn’t just take my heart, he took my life! 
It was His love that spared me! It was His love that kept me! 
It was His love that spared me! I surrender! 
All of Him and none of me! 
So when I hear someone say 
“Let God come and meet me himself nowadays, 
I shake my head! 
Can you stand in his presence and 
dialogue with him as a rebel? 
He only speak to sons and daughters! 
He deals with dissent and elbows the proud! 
Thank you Jesus for loving Gbenga Samuel - Wemimo, 
thank you for this opportunity you have given him to 
LIVE for you and you alone. 
I lost the right to attach conditions to my love for you. 
A dead man cannot dictate terms to the father of life. 
I am just happy I am in You. Thank you Jesus!

PS: "Having a call of God on your life" in my understanding
at that time was like an invitation to a life of penury, poverty 
and woe!
I couldn't see beyond torn collars and Pharisee Bibles!
I told myself I couldn't have all the potentials I possess
and opt for a sorry life
I simply wanted to make the best of my life!
I was so wrong!
