Distractors
Some of us have so conditioned our
minds, thoughts and imaginations
to side with the world against the church!
We are Christians and claim we are for
Christ but that is the beginning and the
end of our Christianity.
We don’t tell anybody about the Lord,
we don’t even invite people to church as
we only attend church once in a while
ourselves.
We find church activities boring and
somehow...well...truth be told, we don’t
feel at home in the church!
When we attend we suffer through the
whole “religious” thing.
We are free spirits!
Yes!
We are not some gullible sheepies that
some tyrannical Man of God can control!
We are Felakinds and we quote him freely
to express our disdain for the hypocrisy of
religion and foolishness of those whose
mind seemed to have been taken over by
religious Lords!
we call the Zombies!
We write talk, think and act against such
obvious manipulations!
When one Mr. Frozenbrain came out with a
“sensible criticism” against the church and
tithing, we remembered our google and
Bible and started combining the two in search
of tithing and the church
We never did this to know the Word more or
teach it to others!
Our own interest in the word was to engage
it to disprove academically and support
those who were exposing the leeches!
Many of us don’t pay tithe and we took it
upon ourselves to educate those who pay
on why they shouldn’t!
Many of us started criticizing pastors whose
churches we have never been to or whose
assignments we have no knowledge about!
We search the Internet for the wrong things
Pastors are doing while closing our eyes to
all the good things! Some of us just open
our mouths and heap hot coals of fire on
our own heads by choosing to speak even
when it was wise to keep quiet!
You will not obey the Lord, yet, you will not
leave those who are trying to obey the Lord
do so in peace!
You were entrusted with a mandate to make
disciple of nations
You have refused to do as the Lord demanded!
You live your life just to please yourself and
do “good”! Yet, you are counting yourself
among the church!
Remember the servant that buried his talent?
That was you!
He thought he was safe because he belonged
to the master but his actions and motivations
were against the master!
Remember his fate?
The one talent he had was taken from him
and he was kicked out of the Kingdom!
A man once took it upon himself to stop
the church, he encountered Christ on the
road to Damascus! Jesus said “Saul, Saul,
why are you persecuting me?
Why are you hurting yourself?!?
Many of us are kicking against the pricks
We hurt ourselves out of our foolishness
We know not, yet we assume we are wise
We speak when we ought to be silent
We are the cause of the storm in our
own realities
Like Jonah, we are not moving forward
because we walk in disobedience
I had a friend like you!
He died of a terrible ailment recently,
he died because he couldn’t discern the
body of Christ!
He heaped damnation upon himself by
the words of his mouth
He assumed the church was toothless!
Just like Herod
Just like BarJesus
Just like Judas and Saul
Just like Ananias and Saphira
When you appoint yourself as the chief
critic of the church while you refuse to
do the bidding of the gospel
You become a distraction and a distractor
You wear a judge’s wig at your own peril,
because with the same measure with
which you judge you shall also be judged!
It is true that there are many who abuse
the gospel of Christ and His church
It was so even in the early church!
The Gnostics, Nicolaitans and many other
heretics took to the bastardization of the
gospel!
Apostle Paul and St. John wrote about
these dogs!
Peter also mentioned them!
Even our Lord Jesus in the book of Revelations
mentioned them
It is therefore foolish to set yourself up as
the judge of “good and upright” pastors
when you have no idea what being a
pastor is like.
If you don’t like a pastor, don’t listen to
him or follow his teaching
Read your Bible and live for Christ
Mind your business!
Religion has always been a very personal
thing
Peter once asked the Lord Jesus concerning
John and John’s fate in the gospel
Jesus said “What is your business in John’s
affair?
You follow me!”
Apostle Paul later wrote these words “who
are you to judge another man’s servant?
To his own master he rises or falls”
Why did Apostle Paul say this?
He knew that the church was not powerless
and Christ is positioning men and women
strategically in places to do his bidding!
Only a fool will assume he or she had to help
sanitize the church!
The Jesus we saw in the gospel was more
than capable of cleansing the temple with
a whip and the Jesus that revealed himself
in the book of Revelations was more than
capable of dispensing judgement to His
own body!
Be wise!!!
