Get Set!
I have certain friends and brothers
that I am worried about
They are believers
They love the Lord
They are faithful and yet they
are struggling!
The gospel has not become real
to them
What they know ought to be
is not what is in their lives
They are living from hands to mouth!
My friends!
They are anointed and they try to live
a Holy life
One has registered his ministry for
five years and is still sitting at home
living off his wife!
The wife calls me to complain and cry
"My husband has become a permanent
liability, I am the one bearing the
burden"
His wife pays the rent
Puts food on the table
Caters for the children
He refused to get a job because
God called him
He refused to do what God called
him to do
because he was waiting for further
instructions from God!
Nobody can counsel him In the end,
we had to leave him alone
There is another who genuinely wants
to work He had applied to so many
places and it seemed as if he was
operating under a closed heaven!
Seeing his struggles and efforts is a
comfort and a consolation!
I know he will break forth soon!
Zion is the land of the helped and
blessed
Then there is this third one!
He is laboring in another person's
vineyard and has nothing to show for
his years of labour!
He is working hard as a pastor and
the church is growing but he has refused
to collect salary and didn't have any
other source of income
His wife is crying
Crying day and night
She is working but her income is not
enough to cater to the need of four
children and her husband
The church he is working with does
not pay pastors any remuneration
unless such indicates that he or she
wants to be paid!
He has refused to indicate as required
He says "God called him and God
must bless him"
There are many more
I love all my brothers
But you can be born again and lazy
You can be born again and be naive
You can be Born again and be ignorant
The gospel does not breed fools
It is the power of God unto salvation!
As we approach 2020
I am asking my brothers and the
body of Christ to position themselves
for the blessings of God which maketh
rich absent of sorrow
You cannot continue to do the same thing
and expect a different result
It is time to walk into the reality of Zion
on earth! Amen

I skipped work for two days once.
I needed to rest!
My boss was traveling to the UK
and Dubai!
He decided to go to a Bureau
DeChange and convert some Naira
into foreign currency!
He was defrauded!
By the time he got to the office
he realized he had been given
fake foreign currency!
He went back to the Bureau DeChange
to shout
Nothing came out of it
It was quite a lump sum
He called some of his friends who were
in the police force
Everybody blamed him for being foolish
Why didn’t you use the bank?
Why were you so greedy?
Don’t you know these people by now?
His wife heard it
And they shifted the blame
Where is your PA?
How come you allow your PA to do
whatever he wanted?
Was he not supposed to be the one
to change the money for you?
You are too lax with that boy
He stayed away from work without
permission
He is irresponsible and
He must be held responsible for this
“Mummies” are the best..
Some of my colleagues got a wind
of what had happened
Our front desk officer called me
Bro. Gbenga, you are being grilled here
Why didn’t you come to the office?
She gave me the full gist
I couldn’t help it
I laughed and laughed and laughed
How was It my fault?
What did I do?
I got to the office the next day
My boss was looking and behaving
like a chicken brooding over its eggs
He was waiting for the opportunity
to snap off my head
His wife arrived and started the
mohurumohuru dance
“Gbenga, why didn’t you come to the
office on Monday and Tuesday?”
I told them I had worked all weekend
I needed to rest and I sent him a note
that I wouldn’t be coming,
he was the one who didn’t check his
WhatsApp message! (He had that habit)
He took over and told me what had '
happened
I smiled
I asked him if he knew the address of
the Bureau de change
He said he did!
He gave me the business card of the
Bureau de change
He described where it was in Alade Market
He showed me the fake currency
I smiled!
I took the fake currency and told him
I was coming
I got the office driver
We drove to Ikeja
I went to the Bureau de change
Shook their hands and negotiated
the rates
I told them how much I had
They asked me if I wanted cash
or if I would prefer a bank transfer
I told them bank transfer
They asked to see the money
I gave them the same note they gave
my boss which had been confirmed
to be fake
They took the money and counted it
They transferred the cash equivalent
to my bank
I got the alert
I shook hands with them and we
had some small talk
They gave me their business card
in case of future businesses
I walked back to the bus
The driver drove me to my bank
I transferred the money to my boss
C’est fini!
I got back to the office
My boss was full of questions
How did you do it?
What did you do?
His wife (Mummy in the Lord) was
clapping her hand and rolling her eyes
I told them I merely went to the same
Bureau de change and changed the
money back to Naira
They were just looking like Neppios
My boss was generous
He gave me some cash gift as a
thank you gesture
Please note this “I am a believer,
I am not doing a mental faith thing,
I am not faking my reality!
If I bid night turn to day, the night must turn!”
I stopped working with my boss recently
We met today 23/12/2019 at the mall
He still remembered!
He said “Gbenga! You have something
I can verify to be true and real!
Your walk with the Holy Spirit is on
a different dimension!
I have been a pastor for years,
what you did that day was the greatest
miracle I have ever seen!”
I smiled!
I too, I am Christ!
PS: One of my teachers says this often
"A believer can never be put in a
disadvantageous situation!
Throw him in the fire, he will walk
out unsinged
Throw him in the lion's den
He will walk out unhurt
Imprison him and risk an earthquake
Try to cheat him and you find yourself
harassed and confused on every side
Being a believer is the greatest gift
Jesus gave to us
He made us His Kind!
His Type, His LIkeness!
Like Himself!
Many dont know this
What a pity?
