Vultures and Eagles

You attend a Church, and the pastor teaches on
how many folks who offended him have since 
either lost their precious possessions, 
health or even lives.
You listened further to the other church members
 boast ingloriously of such grace upon the pastors
 life that when he curses men no one can reverse it.
You begin to wonder whether these members are
 born again or if the pastor is a New Testament
Post redemption ministry gift 
If sinning against God (by both clergy and laity)
doesn't attract such fatality, you should examine
 your head who this the ministry, church and pastor
 really work for 

Remember these words 

Luke 9:54-56 KJV
[54] And when his disciples James and John saw
 this , they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command
 fire to come down from heaven, and consume
 them, even as Elias did?
[55] But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, 
Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 
56] For the Son of man is not come to destroy 
men's lives, but to save them . And they went 
to another village.
What manner of spirit is working in such assembly ?
I have had to upbraid preachers who curse and 
as it were had to set their captives free from such 
Dominic influence and manipulation .
Imagine a preacher giving an offender 7 days 
to die!i asked him who authorized such since 
the new covenant ministers life(2corinthians3:3-8)

Shame!!!!!

By the way what manner of church is that 
glorifying, wrath, bitterness and evil speaking
If your pastor's knowledge of discipline includes 
loss of life and visitation of evil, then you must be 
foolish to remain in such a congregation 

James 1:13 KJV
[13] Let no man say when he is tempted, 
I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted
 with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
James 1:16-17 KJV
[16] Do not err, my beloved brethren. 
17] Every good gift and every perfect gift is from 
above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, 
with whom is no variableness, neither shadow 
of turning.
Such a congregation isn't glorying Jesus and 
His finished work

James 3:9-13 KJV
[9] Therewith bless we God, even the Father; 
and therewith curse we men, which are made after 
the similitude of God. 
[10] Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing 
and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not 
so to be.
[11] Doth a fountain send forth at the same place 
sweet water and bitter?
[12] Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? 
Either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt 
water and fresh.
[13] Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge 
among you? let him shew out of a good conversation 
his works with meekness of wisdom.

Matthew 5:44-45 KJV
[44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless 
them that curse you, do good to them that hate you,
 and pray for them which despitefully use you, 
and persecute you; 
[45] That ye may be the children of your Father 
which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise 
on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on 
the just and on the unjust.
Remember God has blessed You in Christ Jesus, 
one of His blessings is forgiveness and u are 
saved from wrath!

Jesus is Lord, We Win!

When I set my 
heart to do ministry many years back, an old hand 
or a "father in faith" if you like said to me:
"Phil, you are a passionate Preacher. You will 
go far in ministry but, you must understand that
 ministry is all about understanding 
THE PSYCHOLOGY OF MEN. 
Know what they want and give it to them.
If you sense they want mantle, give them. 
If you sense they believe in oil, water, honey, 
sugar or any mysticisms, give it to them.
Dance around their fears and desires and you 
will always be needed. You will remain relevant 
in their lives and they will give you anything 
you asked".

He repeated again, MINISTRY IS UNDERSTANDING 
THE PSYCHOLOGY OF MEN. 
Stay around their fears and remain relevant.
Thus we learned ministry the wrong way. 
We programmed all services around our NEEDS, 
DESIRES AND EXPECTATIONS and not after CHRIST.
God wasn't using us. We were using God.
Many are still thus WRONGLY guided. 
They inherited the wrong pattern and concept 
of Ministry.
We will keep praying and keep speaking until 
all dark places are lighted.

RUNNING WITHOUT THE REAL MESSAGE.  

Believe me, sir, It is not every messenger who runs, 
that understands the message.  

Some messengers run with the message they don't 
quite understand. But some messengers just run
 without a message.  
All it takes to run is to have zeal, not necessarily an 
understanding of the message.  
Paul said concerning some people,  "I bear them 
witness,  that they have a zeal for God but not 
according to knowledge" Rom. 10:2. 
 They are passionate about a God they do not 
quite know. 
But a zealous person who doesn't understand
 the message is like a loose cannon capable of 
causing unintentional damage to his hearers.  
The Bible gave an account of a man who ran, 
ostensibly with the message of Christ, 
but it wasn't the gospel.  
He was a terrific speaker,  charismatic 
and eloquent.  
He was mighty (well versed)  in scriptures. 
Yet he did not understand the message. 
It is not everyone who knows the scriptures 
that know the message. 
He had met the Lord and his zeal had taken him 
all the way to the city of Ephesus, speaking with 
passion. 
His name is Apollo.  
I love the way The Message Translation of the 
bible captured this account:
"A man named Apollos came to Ephesus. 
He was a Jew, born in Alexandria, Egypt, and 
a terrific speaker, eloquent and powerful in his 
preaching of the Scriptures. He was well-educated 
in the way of the Master and fiery in his enthusiasm. 
Apollos was accurate in everything he taught 
about Jesus up to a point, but he only went as far 
as the baptism of John. He preached with power in 
the meeting place. When Priscilla and Aquila heard 
him, they took him aside and told him the rest of the story".
Acts 18:24‭-‬26 MSG. 

Dead Messages!

He was accurate in everything he taught about 
Jesus, but only up to a point. And that point is the 
baptism of John. 
So he didn't know that the baptism of John was not 
the message. He ran with it anyway.  
John the Baptist was only a forerunner. 
He told his hearers,  "I am not the messiah". 
"There's he, who comes after me,  whose 
shoe-latchet I am unworthy to untie".
 He said the reason he came baptizing with 
water was to identify Christ and reveal him to 
Israel (John 1:31).  
And once Christ was revealed, his mission was 
done and dusted. 
The ministry of John the Baptist ended. 
His purpose was accomplished and that chapter 
was closed.
But here comes a man traveling all over the place 
preaching with much gusto, a message that was
 already done and dusted.  
I hate to admit this,  but there are many messengers 
in our days who have built all their life's ministry 
on closed chapters, what is already done and dusted. 
They may be anointed,  they may have huge crowds 
following them. They may be charismatic. 
They may be well versed in scriptures. 
But once the message is not Christ and Christ alone,  
they are running with the wrong message.  
Thank God for Priscilla and Aquila who took Apollo 
aside to instruct him properly on the way of the Lord. 
Thank God for Apollo and his humility.
 He could have despised them.  
He could have summarily dismissed them because
they didn't even have his kind of charisma or
 anointing or clout in religious circles.
He could have asked them to shut up. 
 He could have said to them, 
"you don't argue with proofs". 
But he could have lost out on vital instructions necessary 
for his life and ministry.  
Dear friends,  it doesn't matter for how long you have 
been running with the wrong message, what matters 
is the ability to say "I was wrong". 
I sincerely believe the way to go is humility. 
 We know in part, so we prophesy in part... 

It's a new day.

 MY FRIENDS ACCUSED ME OF KILLING A YOUNG MAN  

I was in pastors conference in Owerri 1992, we gave 
scholarship to pastors. I hired all the rooms in Concorde 
hotel and they are 220 rooms, and I gave it to pastors and 
prayer partners around the world.
A young man came to me that he was a pastor and he
 would want me also to give him a room and I said ‘no’.
 People told me you are not a pastor, he said if am not 
a pastor, let God judge me, and I said let God judge you
 now.
He fell to the ground and died. Workers at Concorde 
hotel walk up to me and said Oga! You have killed 
somebody, I replied shut up, I did not touch the man.
Grace of God leaders came to me and say you have 
killed somebody, and I said to them, shut up your 
mouth, I did not touch the man.
My friends from America who came to be part of the 
program, asked me, Uma, what did you do? It was then 
I said to God, if my friends could give me this verdict, 
what will my enemy say?
Life is made in a way, everyone of us have an enemy, 
who hate you with passion, somebody who sees 
nothing good in you.
I wept, hot blood rush down, my heart fell into my 
stomach and God said; don’t panic, call his name 
seven times and I will put back his life. I called his 
name seven times and the young man came back to life. 
There is power in spoken word.

Between Eagles and Vultures

9 So He said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old heifer, 
a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, 
a turtledove, and a young pigeon.” 
10 Then he brought all these to Him and cut them in two, 
down the middle, and placed each piece opposite the other; 
but he did not cut the birds in two. 11 And when the vultures
came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away.

In Genesis 15, God asked Abraham to prepare
certain animals! Abraham was given specific instructions
about how to prepare the animals
The most relevant instruction was that the animals
must be killed, divided in two equal halves except for 
the birds!
A kettle of Vultures saw the dead animals and 
assumed they could feast, but Abraham drove them away!
Why?
Naturally, vultures are scavengers!
They feed on dead flesh and were acting in concert with
nature when they decided to pay Abraham's prepared
covenant sacrifice a visit
But Abraham knew that his preparation was for a meeting
with God and His angels! The Eagles!!!
He wanted nothing to do with vultures!
Vultures are a symbol of the devil and the demonic
They feed on the dead and the rotten
The devil comes but to kill, steal and destroy
Jesus came that we might have life and live life to the full!
The same way Abraham chased away the vultures
We must chase away the culture of "Spaking death and
praying "DIE" prayers in our churches all in the name
of spiritual warfare and fighting imaginary enemies!
Jesus said "Bless, curse not"

When a Spirit-filled believer curse and invoke death in the
place of prayer, he or she will not attract angels!
He or she will attract demons!
Demons take orders to kill and destroy
Thus the believer is working with demons in his or her reality
Sometimes the curse works and havoc was wrecked
The believer will come to church to give thanksgiving
He or she had used the authority in the name of Jesus
to send demons on an errand!
He or she had invited vultures to the gathering of Eagles
That indeed is the lopsided reality of today's Christian 
reality
