When Favour Answers

A lady came to me sometime in 2022, asking about supernatural blessings. She was a doctor whose practice was really doing well. She was also an entrepreneur who has her hands in many businesses.

She was a believer, and she had given so much to ministries all over the world. Yet, she felt her success had been entirely down to her hard work and desired to experience on miracle that she could share with her friends and colleagues about God's intervention in human issues regarding finances.

We talked for a while as I made her understand that human beings have the power of dominion by which, even if they have no knowledge of God or acknowledge God, they can prosper.

I gave her the example of Nebuchadnezzar, Pharaoh, and modern-day Atheists who are swimming in billions.

She said, "I would like to experience the supernatural power of God in such a unique way that I will no longer think all I have is my doing. I have known labour and its rewards, but now I seek to know how favour works."

So, we prayed, and I asked the Lord to show her how favour works. The next day, she was at her office when a client strolled in. The client sat down and told her that he had been dealing with a mental illness for over six years. The illness had been diagnosed, and he was already being treated, but the drugs he was using cost him 11 million naira (5,000 GBP) every month.

The hospital he was using had, however, increased the medicine they were supplying him to 12 million Naira (5, 800 GBP), and he was unwilling to pay that amount even though he had the money.

She asked him if he had the prescription, and he said he did. She said she took the prescription and sent it to one of her colleagues in Canada.

The lady told him it was a Korean medicine (TKM). She asked the lady if she could help import and send it to Nigeria, and the friend agreed.

A week later, the medicine was delivered to her. The man came to her office, collected it, and paid her 5,000 pounds. When the friend got around to sending her the bill, the friend sent a bill of 300 CAD

The lady immediately tried calling the man to refund him the balance of the money because she felt it was unethical and callous to make such a profit off anyone.

The man neither picked up his call nor was at the address he had filled in the patient form at her office.

She waited six months, hoping the man would return to fill his prescription so she could refund him his balance. The man never showed up again.

She came to my office to narrate the experience several months later. She said she was shocked because she even went to the hospital the man was using before to make inquiries about him. Nobody in that hospital knew the man.

She said such a high-net-worth individual would have been known to the management of the hospital. She was convinced he was an angel sent by God to answer the questions that had troubled her heart for many years.

I was convinced that this was also the case.
