Amen

Amen

My very first rule is simple .....
I will never listen to you if all you know
as a preacher is to quote Bible out of
context just to suit your profit.
Whn you always rob the scriptures of their
original intention
A major Bible truth is lost.
I will never listen to you if you teach things
that I cannot see in my Bible.
Are you trying to be Special?
In doing what? Creating Knowledge?
And I won't even look at you when you twist
scripture and turn it to prayer point.
This is often seen.
For instance...
This is one verse I love so much
Romans 8:11
KJV: But if the Spirit of him that raised up
Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that
raised up Christ from the dead shall also
quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit
that dwelleth in you.
First, you need to know that this verse
was not an Instruction and is not a
prayer point.
It simply a piece of information about an
established fact in the Believer.
Paul was simply showing us that the same
God who raised Jesus from the dead will do
the same for EVERYONE who sleeps in the
Lord, and quicken the body of those who
are yet alive when Jesus is revealed the
second time.
The Spirit in our hearts is the irrevocable
guarantee that we can never ever miss the
rapture if we have believed the gospel
So I cannot understand why someone will ask
People to pray as “ Let the spirit that raise
Christ quicken my mortal body ”
I mean do you know what the Verse is
saying at all ?
What are you trying to achieve ?
The Scripture has nothing to do you with
your falsy assumption you have of it .
This verse are to be explain well .
When you get your theology well , you
will pray properly
Olufade Wisdom David

Are you waiting on the Lord for healing
to an affliction/sickness?
Or Had the Lord spoken but the lying
symptoms are still visible, enough to
becloud the word and reality of God?
I was there a few years back.
I carried a protruding tummy exactly
like a full term pregnancy that
Even the mallam selling pepper would
beckon to me as Iya Ibeji at my age.
But God did speak.
And the protruding tummy also kept
speaking!!!
At the end, the voice of the Lord was
louder and shattered the cedars of
Lebanon.
Two years went by and one day,
to the glory of God, the symptoms started
disappearing one after the other.
Big tommy started shrinking and phew!
To a zero level!!
The current tummy I carry now is of eba!!!
I encourage you this morning to hold on
to the Word of God.
He has spoken HEALING, RESTORATION,
and WHOLENESS into your body.
Hang On where you are, hold fast to His
promises, focus on the Resurrected JESUS,
continue drinking from His living waters.
Soonest, the Coming One will surely come
and will not tarry.
I speak peace unto you, peace to your
house, and peace to all that you have.

Amen.
The phrase "Amen " is arguably one the
most auspicious words in and within
interactions amongst Believers as the
scriptural response to prayers .
Often preceded by the popular
“ in Jesus name “.
This is never out of place .
However at times when such terms
aren’t explained adequately
It might lead to its misapplication
elsewhere.
For example
2 Corinthians 13:14 KJV
[14] The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God, and the communion
of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
It’s believed this is a prayer hence the
use of the term “ Amen “
Is the phrase used for prayer here ?
The phrase "Amen" can be found in
many of Jesus’ statements in the four
gospels.
Maybe because of this translation
Matthew 6:13 KJV
[13] And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: For thine is
the kingdom, and the power, and
the glory, for ever. Amen.
Yet,the meaning is “ truly ,or most
assuredly “
A phrase used elsewhere without
the reader imagining a prayer or
request is implied.
Matthew 5:18 KJV
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till
heaven and earth pass, one jot or
one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled.
"Verily "here is same original word
as Amen
Infact Amen is a Hebrew word
derived from the phrase Aman,
which means Faithful .
So anywhere we find it in Jesus’ words
like the above it means, faithfully or
most definitely.
For example
John 3:3,5 KJV
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a
man be born again, he cannot see the
kingdom of God. [5] Jesus answered,
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a
man be born of water and of the Spirit,
he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
And it’s an affirmation of the Scriptures
(Old Testament), affirmed as reliable.
So Paul’s use of it isn’t for prayer most
often, rather like Jesus it’s an affirmation
of Gods faithfulness to His promises,
written in the Old Testament scriptures.
Romans 1:25 KJV
[25] Who changed the truth of God
into a lie, and worshipped and served
the creature more than the Creator,
who is blessed forever? Amen.
Not praying or making a request.
Romans 9:5 KJV
[5] Whose are the fathers, and of whom
as concerning the flesh Christ came,
who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
Same .
Romans 11:36 KJV
[36] For of him, and through him, and to
him, are all things: to whom be glory
forever. Amen.
Romans 15:33 KJV
[33] Now the God of peace be with
you all. Amen.
Definitely here.
It means the scriptures are true, reliable
and trustworthy.
This is found so in Jesus, our Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:20 KJV
[20] For all the promises of God in him
are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory
of God by us.
He is the “truly truly “ of Gods promise
in the Old Testament scriptures.
Revelation 3:14 KJV
[14] And unto the angel of the church of
the Laodiceans write;
These things saith the Amen, the faithful
and true witness, the beginning of the
creation of God;
The AMEN.
So when we use the phrase Amen, whether
in prayer, praise or proclamation of the Gospel,
we are saying it is promise fulfilled as Gods
so announced in the Old Testament scriptures.
Amen or Jesus Christ or savior or the Son
of God...are all the same.
Amen
