Earning Heaven
The toughest battles I have ever fought
were battles between what I knew and
what I felt.
I see divine truth as stated in God's word,
but sometimes my feelings say something else.
I see God's word says that if I believe in
Jesus who died for my sin and was raised
for my justification, then I have salvation
by faith, without works.
But I don't always feel saved.
I have to learn to ignore my feelings
and focus on Jesus.
I see God's high standard of walking in
holiness and consecration, yet I find
that sometimes I have to fight my
feeling so it can conform to God's
standard.
I see God's word tells me of my permanent
victory in Christ, of my greatness in Him,
but I have to force my feelings to agree
in the face of staggering oppositions.
I see God's word tells me the gifts of the
Spirit are mine, that the sick will be healed
through my hands, but I have to bring my
mind into subjection to it and insist until it
complies to the truth of God's word.
I think this is a fight I must keep fighting
and keep winning as I walk on in my
Christian faith.
When the feeling of sickness attacks me,
the feeling of sorrow, the feeling of pain,
the sense of loss or lack, and all the
challenges of this life, I have to insist
on God's word, inspite of how I feel.
God's word alone is truth.
Anything contrary is a lie.
I have come to realize that my circumstances
and feelings will not always automatically
agree with or reflect what God's word says,
so I fight to ensure it aligns to God's word.
I believe this is an honourable fight for the
sons of God on earth.
I think we will keep engaging in this fight
until we put off this body of flesh.
I believe this will be the basis of our eternal
reward on that day.
So dear believer, fight!
1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on
eternal life, whereunto thou art also called,
and hast professed a good profession
before many witnesses.
The level of your spiritual understanding
and maturity influences how you pray and
how you react to challenges.
For example:
Brother A read
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of
God, that giveth to all men liberally, and
upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:5.
And he prayed thus:
"Father, according to James 1:5, I ask you
to give me wisdom in Jesus' Name."
Brother B read the following scriptures:
But of him are ye in CHRIST JESUS,
WHO OF GOD IS MADE UNTO US
WISDOM, and righteousness, and
sanctification, and redemption:
1 Corinthians 1:30.
7. In whom we have redemption through
his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace;
8. WHEREIN HE HATH ABOUNDED T
OWARD US IN ALL WISDOM AND PRUDENCE;
Ephesians 1:7-8.
To the intent that now unto the
principalities and powers in heavenly
places might be known by the church
the manifold wisdom of God,
Ephesians 3:10.
IN WHOM (CHRIST) ARE HID ALL THE
TREASURES OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE.
Colossians 2:3.
9. For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the
fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10. AND YE ARE COMPLETE IN HIM,
which is the head of all principality
and power:
Colossians 2:9-10.
And prayed
"Father, I thank You because I do not
lack wisdom. Christ is my wisdom.
In Christ are hid all the treasures of
wisdom and knowledge,and Christ
Is in me and I am one spirit with Him.
I therefore declare that the wisdom of
God finds expression through me all
the time.
Glory Hallelujah!"

JESUS IS THE PROBLEM!
Not hyper grace preachers!
Not eternal salvation preachers!
Jesus is the problem!
I didn't give you eternal life. If John 3.16
had said you have temporary life, I would
have preached it, Jesu n'gbo.
I didn't die for your sins eternally.
If Hebrews 10 has said Jesus' blood paid
for sins till your next unconfessed sin,
I would have preached it sir.
Jesus caused the trouble!
By my natural temperament, I am a
tough person, and sometimes can be
wicked (depending on the context).
You think I like people in heaven?
Lols
If heaven is so cheap, those of us who
labour everyday to make it have no pride.
It will make sense to see just 3000 of us
in heaven so I can watch the rest of
you roast in hell, especially those of
you who hate me so much, and never
appreciate anything I do.
But Jesus is the problem!
He is the one who died for all men
even when they hated Him!
He is the one who gave His Spirit
forever to everyone who believes.
He is the one who intercedes forever
at the right hand of God.
He is the one who saves to the uttermost!
Jesus is the problem o!
He is the one redeemed us eternally!
He is the one who forgives all sins even
when the sinner is busy committing more sins!
Didn't you hear what the psalmist say?
Psalms 130:3 If thou, LORD, shouldest
mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
Psalms 130:4 But there is forgiveness
with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
Psalms 130:7 Let Israel hope in the LORD:
for with the LORD there is mercy, and
with him is plenteous redemption.
Psalms 130:8 And he shall redeem Israel
from all his iniquities.
again?
Psalms 103:10 He hath not dealt with us
after our sins; nor rewarded us according
to our iniquities.
Psalms 103:11 For as the heaven is high
above the earth, so great is his mercy
toward them that fear him.
Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is
from the west, so far hath he removed
our transgressions from us.
Jesus is the problem o!
He is the one that sent all His prophets
just to testify of His forgiveness!
The Acts 10:43 To him give all the
prophets witness, that through his name
whosoever believeth in him shall
receive remission of sins.
The Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake
these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all
them which heard the word.
Jesus is the problem o!
He is the one who advocated for a
woman caught in the very act of adultery!
He is the one who chased off all her
accusers!
He is the problem o!
Show me a Jesus that marks iniquities
and condemns sinners, and I will
preach Him!
2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was
in Christ, reconciling the world unto
himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them; and hath committed unto
us the word of reconciliation.
JESUS IS THE PROBLEM!
Why do we preach Christ to Muslims?
Many Muslims have better character
than Christians.
If heaven was by good character and
salvation was earned by conducts,
many Muslims will be seated with Christ
before any believer in Christ draw close!
The sad thing about the gospel many
preach is they will tell you no matter what
good an unbeliever does,
ONLY JESUS IS THE WAY!
Then when the unbeliever believes,
they will tell him when he sins any little
sin, he is going to hell if he doesn't
quickly confess or repent.
It appears your eternity is far more
definite when you are an unbeliever
than when you believe in Christ.
As an unbeliever, hell is sure!
But as a believer, well, heaven depends
on many variables.
From how hard you can cry when you
sin to your very thoughts to the conduct
you engage in when the trumpet sounds
to your last action before you die etc
It is all a chaos of faith!
John 3.16 is not believed by most
preachers who preach it!
The verse says the one who believe
WILL NOT PERISH, HE HAS ETERNAL LIFE!
Most preachers will tell you that, then
tell you ten ways to make heaven.
The funny thing is, we all know many
people who offended us by their
conduct one way or the other but
rather than tell such of his or her wrong
doing, we keep quiet and seeth!
We expect that if the trumpet sounds
such a person wouldn't go to heaven
because he or she offended us even
if he or she doesn't know he or she
had erred!
We call that the sin of omission and
commission
It is such a pity that our salvation would
ever depend on anything other than
Christ and that for us the Lamb of
God which taketh away the sins of the
world didn't do a complete job,
we were left to clean up after him!
If eternal life is not enough, then what is?!
May God help our minds, it is well.
Revd Harrison Ayintete
I find myself playing catch up with
time today, activities piled up and
battling with the technology of the
new phone I was given by my siblings
to work with felt like writing JAMB.
I had wanted to write about how i met
Prophet Flow, the almost telepathic
and synchronized mannerism of our spirits!
I am troublesome and he is patient!
I dislike order and things looking too
put together!
For me it has to be spontaneous, it has
to be unpredictable!
All the characteristics i listed above
are the characteristics of a prophet.
Priests were the orderly ones!
The "I follow programme and I follow
protocol kinds!"
Prophet Femi is a rare kind of Prophet!
Mildly tempered and quick to sue for
mercy and peace.
He is a brother and a friend!
He lives and preaches the gospel
He is a good example and he is
transparent!
Humble to a fault!
The Holy Spirit is real and true!
The deep indeed calls to the deep!
The sons of the Last Adam were
indeed Baptised into Him by the
power of the Holy Spirit as one.
He sent a message, I responded!
We met and talked!
His heart and my heart indeed
yearned for the same thing!
I bear witness to the world that
he is my father's son!
Prophet Femi, I love you!
I love you for your lack of "airs"
and simplicity!
I love you for recognizing and
understanding the move of the
Holy Spirit in all of us and calling
us brothers.
I know where you are coming
from sir, a lineage of prophets and
I see where you are going!
The Holy Spirit has promised you a
season of double of doubles of
doubles!
I see why!
Blessed are the sons who follow your
footsteps as you follow Christ.
Happy Birthday Brother!
You are a testament of His epistle
in the midst of the sons of Men
and the fellowship of the saints In light.
You have embarked on his mission
and He has perfected your walk!
Happy birthday, my pastor
