So something happened earlier this morning

 during the Night of Glory. 

In the church I attend, I was the minister 

in charge of the choir. 

I was given this assignment officially in 

January 2018.

 Before then I had been unofficially involved 

in grooming the choir members spiritually

The choir had some scandals before I joined 

the church I heard about it and even helped 

mop up some of the issues in my little capacity. 

The church is a good church but emphasis 

was based on righteousness through religious 

efforts. 

I disagreed totally with this theological view

Righteousness was a "free" gift and cannot 

be earned by human effort or performance! 

This is why it can never increase or decrease! 

It is fixed! 

Grace increases and multiplies but righteousness, 

like eternal life was always a gift through the 

Lord Jesus Christ! 

I wanted to demonstrate this to the

Church so I asked to be made the minister in 

charge of the choir! 

My pastor agreed I started praying with the 

choir and having vigils with them I told them 

to forget all rules 

They are at liberty to relate with one another 

in whatever capacity they desire 

Given the record of Sexual immorality I met 

on the ground, many felt this was a mistake. 

It was the right step

The more we fellowshipped together in the 

Holy Spirit, the more the choir grew in-depth 

and knowledge of Christ. 

Good things started happening in the choir 

New Jobs, marriages and so on 

The news spread other talented singers from 

other churches came to join our church choir 

We became spiritually contagious! 

Gone were the days when choir members 

would use words to stir members into worship 

When they minister, their ministrations made 

the Holy Ghost fall upon their audience!

They became firebrands of glory! 

And I am so proud of them! 

When we had to move the Night of Glory 

to @TheikosDoxa, 

I was faced with a dilemma 

I didn’t want it to seem as if I was poaching choir 

members to another ministry 

Such things are delicate in today’s competitive 

churches

So we arranged to get a praise team to lead 

our services until things take shape I made the 

arrangements and also paid in full 

The D-day came 

When service was about to start, I saw my choir 

members 

They had arrived of their own accord to be a 

part of the Night of Glory 

Hallelujah!!!

I told the paid team to leave the altar for 

my choir 

Their leader told me it wouldn’t be fair 

They came to honour our invitation and we 

shouldn’t bench them 

I said no He said he will tell the two teams 

to sing together and share the microphone 

I didn’t like the idea at all!

My choir understands me 

Our services attract people from all over 

the world 

And the service was always from 11am -2am 

followed by one on one ministration 

Worship is integral to spiritual receptiveness 

in many Neppios 

People don’t come to Night of Glory to be 

entertained! 

No way!

We command tangible results by the power 

of the Holy Spirit through the intensity of 

Worship and the anointing of God’s spirit 

Service started 

The music was not at the level I was used to 

I went to the altar and started praying in 

the spirit 

The supernatural zing I was used to

Remained missing I signaled to my choir 

to take over 

They didn’t get the signal 

I started looking at the watch 

Many people came with huge expectations 

The atmosphere was supposed to be charged 

in order to accommodate the Supernatural 

The atmosphere was more “Owambe” than 

“Kadosh”

I stormed the altar and stopped the service 

(I know @harrydaniyan will be crossed with 

me here I apologise sir!) 

I told the congregation I am not feeling the 

“Tungba” song I told my choir to take over 

I know it was way off it 

I wasn’t angry 

I just didn’t want people to lose their

Sleep for nothing! If I am conducting a healing 

and restoration service in words only, I can as 

well tell people to go home and sleep! 

My choir took over, it started off slowly but 

within five minutes, the atmosphere turned 

I heard the revving sound I had been waiting 

for in the Congregation! We took off into glory! 

When it was my turn to minister I apologized to 

the young man I “embarrassed” 

I blessed him by the power of the Holy Spirit 

We went on to have signs and wonders galore! 

Zion erupted and glory was birthed! 

I also apologized to the congregation

Some of my “supervisors” who watched online 

had sent me messages berating me and then 

thanking me for apologizing to the young man! 

Worship is integral to the manifestation of the 

supernatural in a congregation! 

The spirit of God must be present in the 

atmosphere to heal and deliver! 

There are a million ways I could have handled it 

better 

I promise to do better next time.
