Psalm 8- Night Sky
I look at the sky, in the wonder
of the night
I see how excellent you are
The galaxies, its moon and stars
amaze me
You are excellent in all your ways
Your name is excellent for all I say
I will praise you in all my days
You made me and crowned me in glory
Just like you crowned the night sky
You made me for your glory
You had me in mind when you made
everything on earth
You made everything for me
You gave me honour
You put me in charge
Over everything your hands have made
Those I can see and those I cannot
Who am I in the grand scheme of things?
Who am I that you are so mindful of me?
You raised me and placed me beyond angels
I consider the wonders of your works
How excellent are you oh Lord
The night sky tells me this, and more
