No Severance

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 

That’s one of the reasons you have to listen to the word of God all the time. Because it is a cleansing agent. This one will cleanse your spirit. You can have a bath in the spirit. 

John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (5) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 

Jesus said that He is the vine and we are the branches. Do you know what that means? 

Was He ever holy? Then that same holiness is yours. Was He ever righteous? If righteousness is the nature of God and Jesus has the righteousness of God and He says I am the vine and ye are the branches. That’s beginning to tell me something. 

Was Jesus divine? Or was He just another ordinary philosopher? Or a religious leader? Or a positive thinker? Jesus the son of God. Divine. So what kind of life did He have? 

Jesus says I am the vine and ye are the branches. This disobedient, foolish, crazy, evil me? 

Jesus said, I am the vine and ye are the branches. If you accept it, good. If you don’t, forget it!! 

Just free! Just like that? Lord what can I do to become one of the branches? Nothing you just got to be born again. That’s all. 

He’s not talking about coming in to Him. No! You are just born that way. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 

I want you to understand this. Without me here doesn’t mean if I don’t follow you. If I’m not there ,you can’t do nothing. No! No!! No!!! That’s not what Jesus said. 

He said I will be with you always even unto the end of the world. It simply means Apart from me you can do nothing. Cut off from me you can’t do nothing. 

Who is going to cut me out? Nobody!
