There is nothing that makes the heart of a believer walking the talk happier
Than to see the sick, the lame and the helpless people jumping for joy
The feeling is almost indescribable
It is the closest feeling to being God Himself
And there is nothing as heartbreaking
As seeing someone you had prayed for with great result
Return a day or two after the miracle happened
Claiming the infirmity had returned
Be it a sprain, a pain or an infection
It is heartbreaking to see the freed back in bondage
Why do some people lose their miracles
Why do some people become sick again
Why did affliction rise a second time?
It was a question which puzzled him for a long time
Didn't I pray right?
Did I say something wrong?
Was it my fault?

Who rose and walked for all of four days
Before returning to his state of helplessness
Many of the faith healers have their points of reference
That one case that seemed to throw them off balance
Kenneth Hagin mentioned a woman too
He said the woman was a Pastor
She had a terrible malady she was trusting God for
She was on healing lines for many years
Many healers including Kenneth Hagin himself laid hands on the woman
But the woman was never healed!
Why?
The woman said she cannot say she had received something when she had not received it
She was living in the sense realm
For her, seeing was believing!
The woman never got healed of her infirmity
I remember a man I met personally
Who claimed he carried his mother to an Idahosa Crusade
His mother was not healed despite all his troubles
He had to conclude that it was all a lie!
His case was still a bit understandable
At least his mother didnt even get healed
But for those who were healed and lost their healing
The consequences were even more severe
I met one who said "It was all magic and illusion"
She came to the service with a severe pain in her jaw
A simple prayer was prayed
The jaw was healed
She went home glorifying God
Just then the pain started returning
She felt it coming
She was powerless to do anything about it
She became another example of a lost miracle
But then there was this young man
Who had a severe condition
He had holes in his intestines and the doctors gave him six months to live
Nobody prayed for or with him
He laid hands on his own tummy
Commanded the holes to be sealed up by the power of the Holy Spirit
He never went back to the hospital for a medical check up
He kept insisting he had been healed
Sometiness the pain would come in the middle of the night
His tummy would rage and the burning sensation would persist
he woulf juxt laugh and pray in tongues
A day became a month
A month became a year
A year became five years
He was still living a healthy and happy life
He was not dead and the symptoms were totally gone
What did he do right?

Insisted that without the full riches of the word of God in us
We are at best like the seed sown by a sower
The seed was sown by the wayside and it didn't germinate at all
This represents those who didn't get healed at all through unbelief
The seed was sown amidst thorns and thistles and though it germinated
the thorns and thistles choked it and killed it
This was exactly the case with those who received their healings only to lose it
The anointing was able to reach them
They were able to receive the power
But they were unable to retain or keep the power because of their lack of faith
Instead of them resisting the onslaught on the pain when it came back
They resigned to fate and said to themselves "I never really believed it could leave like that"
The funny thing is, the pain was usually more aggressive after it comes back than before it left in the first place
That was the case he had with her
She was a friend and a sister
She reached out to him with a case of stomach cancer
They prayed over the phone
She felt relieved immediately
He prayed for her again
She took a step of faith and started eating everything she could
Her body responded normally
It was as if she was never sick
One of her friends came to visit her
The friend saw her living her life with freedom and said
"You are playing with death, dont you understand that the cancer would relieve you before its final bite"
She didnt know how but she believed the friend
The very next day she was struck again
She reached out to him
Please help me she screamed as she shivered with pain
He held her hands and asked her
"Why do you doubt?
Promise me you will never listen to logic anymore"
She promised!
They prayed again
only this time the prayers took longer
What she received so freely over the phone became a tug of war because it had grown resistant to prayer
Like Jesus said "The demon would get more powerful demons than itself and accommodate them"
She was eventually set free
Five years later she was still enjoying her full health benefits in Christ
He had another case similar to that
A lady who also got cured of cancer
As soon as she was cured, she went back to smoking cigarette
Why? What are you doing? He asked her
"If it comes again, i have you to heal me" She replied
You just can never tell about people
A lot of weird thinking in between the ears
The chief of my message to you is this
If you have sickness in your body or any form of failure in your life
It is because you really do not know you were not supposed to have such
If i am walking on the road and my shoes picked up some smelly waste
I would get rid of it immediately because the stench would be following me everywhere if I dont
But a baby cannot get rid of such by itself
A baby had to be cleaned up in such a case
As the baby grows, the baby would come to realize he or she wasnt supposed to carry smelly stuff about
he or she would learn how to clean himself and herself if she or she picked up such
This is exactly how sickness and afflictions works in the life of a believer
You are not supposed to have it
If you have it, you will get rid of it immediately
If you dont know how to get rid of it
You are still a baby in Christ
Elders or Adults in the faith can get rid of it for you
But you will have to keep the healing by yourself'
How?
Dwell in the word!
Know that the healing you have received is not a special mercy God can give or take at will
It is your right!
Healing is the children's bed!
With this mentally, you will not say it is God's will to make you sick again or not to heal you
You will walk in victory all the time
The more you know the Lord Jesus, the more His power would be at work in you
You are a partaker of the divine nature
You are not a product of flesh and blood
You are an offspring of the word of God
