She didn't know why she had to get an
education so badly
Her father was a very wealthy man
fortunately or her, her father had only
one child!
The child was her!
She was born with a golden spoon!
Why then should she stress herself
getting an education?
Her mother was on her side
Her mother knew how much she went 
through before giving birth to her
Her mother treated her like a mini-god
Whatever she wanted since when she was
a toddler
Her mother gave it to her!
She wrote WAEC the first time
She was barely in class for the examination
She barely paid enough attention to write
her own name
She failed woefully!
Her father went crazy!
He stung her with words
When her mother tried to intervene
Her father threw her mother out of his house
Her mother suddenly realised that
taking her side could cost her dearly
Her mother changed her tone
They got her a lesson teacher!
Her father issued an ultimatum
"You pass all your papers next year
or I disown you!"
She sat up!
Her teacher was a young man
He was just two years older than her
He was from a very poor background
He took teaching her quite seriously
She wrote the examination and passed!
Her Father was impressed
He offered her teacher some money as bonus
But her teacher had other ideas
Her teacher told her father about a business
he wanted to invest in
A rubber plantation had opened at the time
and tyre manufacturing factories were
springing up
Her teacher wanted a loan to buy into 
tyre distributorship
Her father loved the idea and invested
heavily
She went off to school
By the time she returned home after a year
Her father had become even richer
Her teacher was already driving a car
And he was still a student at The Polytechnic
The tyre business was extremely 
profitable
By the time she graduated, her father's
riches had started attracting the attention
of musicians and politicians
Her father told her to consider marrying
her teacher
She had been thinking along that line
Her teacher was also of the same opinion
So they got married!
God blessed the marriage with four
children
They were very popular as a family!
As her fortune with her husband grew
Her father's fortune suddenly crashed
He was defrauded by some "fraudsters"
masquerading as investors
Her father never recovered
He didn't exactly die poor
But by the time he died, his castle had
become a bungalow
It took a toll on his health and he died 
barely two years after the heavy loss
She learnt a very steep lesson from this
As her children grew older, she tried to warn
them of the danger of being too soft or weak
towards outsiders
Leeches, fortune hunters and desperadoes
abound
They would do anything to reap where they
did not sow!
She was determined to safeguard the wealth
of the family with all her might!
Her children were sent to the best schools
Eventually, her first child brought home
a wife from the east
She was against the union from the outset
She had this idea that ladies from that
particular region were gold diggers
The lady was beautiful and educated
But a snake is equally beautiful and guileful 
She said NO to the union!
Her son wouldn't let the lady go
He went to his father to plead his case
His father considered the merit of the
argument and decided to bless the union
It didn't sit well with her but she had to
accept it
When her husband got sick, they both came to
an agreement not to divide the family fortune!
They had investments in oil and gas, computer,
tyres, car parts and agriculture
Her husband felt chopping off the wealth
would be a disadvantage
She agreed with him
Her husband told her the management of the
company should be turn over to her first son
The idea was perfect but she was weary of his
wife from a strange land
She was sure Delilah was only biding her time
waiting for the right opportunity to strike!
Her husband told her he had put in all
the necessary safety nets
Nobody can make away with the company's
fortune without carrying every other person 
along!
She grudgingly agreed!
The company was turned over to the son
Her husband died
Six months after her husband died
Her son suddenly slumped on a golf course 
and died!
He was just thirty-six years old, a father of two
When she got the call, she called her son's
wife and said "I knew you wanted to kill
him all along! And I warned him! But he didn't
listen!
Hear me very clearly, you will leave this house
without a penny of our wealth, you gold digger"
The call was like plunging a hot knife in the heart
of the young widow
She called the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
"Sir, I am done for! My husband died and my
mother-in-law has pinned his death on me!
All I had done was love and care for him
and now I will be punished for it! I have
no helper but God, she is rich and very
influential! She can destroy me and my 
children, if she so desire! 
She is flying out of  Lagos at the moment
she coming over here to throw me out of
my husband's house and strip me of my
dignity! 
Please help me, sir!
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt told 
her to trust the Holy Spirit!
"Don't plan or scheme or make any move,
trust the Holy Spirit to take this over 
completely once we commit it into His hand"
They prayed!
She went to the airport to meet with
her mother-in-law!
From the airport they were driven to
the hospital
Her mother-in-law grilled her all the
way to the hospital
"What did he eat? When last did he
have his medical check up, when last 
did you have sex with him and what was
the style? Did you make him do doggy?
I was told doggy style encourages heart 
failure! When last did your relatives come
to visit? What about your friends?
It was sheer torture!
She gritted her teeth all the way!
She had cried all night and now she was
in the dock getting grilled by her
chief prosecutor!
She was just praying they will let her 
keep her children!
She didn't know if she can survive
without her children!
They got to the hospital and were
directed to the seventh floor
When they got to the seventh floor, '
they saw some nurses and made 
enquiries
Eventually, a doctor emerged!
The doctor took them to his office
and said "Something remarkable 
happened, two hours after being 
confirmed dead and taken to the
mortuary for preparation, he started
breathing again and was immediately
rushed to the Intensive care unit!"
What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The doctor took them to see him
He was asleep and he had tubes all
over him
But he was alive!
The doctor was as shocked as everybody
else!
Two weeks later he was discharged!
The family had another child three years
later

PS: The Holy Spirit doesn't always raise
the dead
But He does raise the dead!
I believe he does whatever He deemed as 
best for us despite our feelings and desires!
We must ask
We must believe
We must trust Him to do what is best for us
The Mother in law died in 2017
By then her opinion of her daughter -in -law
had changed completely
She also accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord
and saviour before she slept in the Lord
The family still lives in Abuja
This event happened in Abuja, January, 2015
