The Chokehold Of a Lie

Lies have deep consequences. If you are lied to while being ignorant of the truth and you end up believing the lie, it creates in you the belief that you know the truth when in fact you have been fed a lie.

From the moment you believe that “truth”, every other thing you believed based on that premise will be a lie.

You can fight for it, canvass for it, campaign for it, convert others to it but it remains a lie.

A lie then can grow to become a movement.

Many religions are actually founded on a falsehood that is so deep that if anyone tries to investigate it, the adherents of the religion will go violent and kill the person.

The same applies to some political movements and politicians.

They know they are packaging and selling a lie but they are selling this to a public willing to believe anything but the truth.

The sold Covid using the same method.

Mass hysteria, fear mongering and a lot of lies.

Some of these believers are actually quite convinced the lie they believe is the truth

Some will even die for it. But the propagators of the lie know it is a lie and they still push it anyway because it was what they feel the public needed to hear.

Was it not Freud that said “Lies forever on the throne, Truth forever on a scaffold?”

To see a lie and convince yourself that it is the truth to the point of believing it is how many lose their minds and fall into deep dysphoria
