The Concert, Zion and Simba

I went to this concert in 2008
A lady i was dating at the time 
insisted we have to go together! 
As soon as we got there it started 
to rain 
This lady had sickle cell disease! 
Her mother called 
"SO AND SO where are you? 
She said "I am with Sammy!" 
Her mother said she should give 
me the phone! Trouble!
Her mother said "Sammy, you 
must bring her back home intact 
and alive! 
I am holding you responsible for 
whatever happens to her! 
Hmm! I suffered that night! 
The rain was determined to embarrass 
me before my future mother in law! 
I took her to the tents 
The tents were allocated to the vendors
who came with the intention of selling
stuff to the crowd
The rain had made most of them pack
up their goods
The tents we're flooded!
We found one meant for an ice cream
vendor
I sat on a freezer 
She stood on my thighs all night 
So that the water from the rising 
flood wouldn't touch her feet 
We saw people fainting everywhere 
Ambulance and red cross folks were 
kept busy all night! 
I spoke in tongues for hours
Praying she wouldn't faint or catch cold
Neither of us was prepared for the rain
It had never rained during the concert 
before!
I had the experience of a lifetime 
In the morning i left her in the tent
to get transportation to take us home
There was a long queue at the BRT 
The buses too were queuing to pick
passengers
I begged BRT driver
To please open his door to pick us 
He was on a queue but we couldn't 
queue because of the rain. 
The man had mercy 
I got her on the BRT 
We got to her house by 7AM 
The way her father looked at me 
Ha! I wanted to evaporate! 
I was deemed irresponsible 
I couldn't tell them she took me
She also left me to take the blame 
like a knight in shiny armour 
I didn't like that 
I didn't want to go to the experience 
But I took it on the chin '
The relationship died a few weeks later 
It's core was killed at the experience 
The body disintegrated soon after 
I never went back
Funny thing was, the following year
she gave me a call
"Where are you" she asked me
I told her I was at home
watching the experience on TV
She laughed and said "I am at
the experience, I will never miss it"
I said "Wonderful!"

Zion

Text: Revelation 21:1 Now I saw a new 
heaven and a new earth, for the first 
heaven and the first earth had passed 
away. Also there was no more sea. 
2 Then I, John,[a] saw the holy city, 
New Jerusalem, coming down out 
of heaven from God, prepared as a 
bride adorned for her husband. 
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven 
saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God 
is with men, and He will dwell with them, 
and they shall be His people. 
God Himself will be with them and be 
their God. 4 And God will wipe away every 
tear from their eyes; there shall be no 
more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. 
There shall be no more pain, for the former 
things have passed away. 
5Then He who sat on the throne said, 
“Behold, I make all things new.” 
And He said to me, “Write, for these words 
are true and faithful.” (NKJV)
Revelation 22: 1 And he showed me a 
pure[a] river of water of life, clear as crystal, 
proceeding from the throne of God and of 
the Lamb. 2 In the middle of its street, 
and on either side of the river,was the 
tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each 
tree yielding its fruit every month. 
The leaves of the tree were for the healing 
of the nations. 3 And there shall be no more 
curse, but the throne of God and of the 
Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall 
serve Him. 4They shall see His face, and 
His name shall be on their foreheads. 
5 There shall be no night there: They need 
no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord 
God gives them light. And they shall reign 
forever and ever.
1. NO MORE SEA
Think of the ways that the sea can have a 
natural and spiritual application:
-The sea separates
-The sea is unstable
-The sea is restless
2. NO MORE DEATH
Unless you are very young, doubtless you 
have stood at the grave at the funeral of 
someone you loved. 
You experienced the pain that death brings 
in separating us from our friends and loved 
ones. But for the believer, the separation is 
only temporary.
A few days before his death, 
Dr. F. B. Meyer wrote a very dear friend 
these words: "I have just heard, to my 
great surprise, that I have but a few days to live. 
It may be that before this reaches you,
 I shall have entered the palace. 
Don't trouble to write. We shall meet in 
the morning." – Mrs. C. Cowman
NO MORE DEATH means these times of 
being separated will end and life will 
continue on eternally as we eat from the 
tree of life. 
3. NO MORE SORROW
Sorrow goes deep to the core when you 
have to walk through it. It is an unbearable 
weight. It is a gnawing pain that grips you 
and shakes you till your bones hurt. 
Sorrow is a condition of living in a fallen world.
Can you imagine an environment where sorrow, 
regret, remorse and loss are no longer possible? 
Wow! what a wonder of wonders. 
Yet this is the reality that awaits the 
saints of God.

4. NO MORE CRYING
This is the tears brought on by life's 
losses and trials, by evil, by death….
and in Heaven and the New Earth, no crying 
will occur. In some way, the cries that are 
issuing out of hell will not be heard in the 
place of the redeemed.

-Often when the hard times come the crying 
comes, but then the hard times will cease 
and the tears will disappear forever.
5. NO MORE PAIN
What things in life cause you to hurt?
Imagine walking through the ICU of a 
children's hospital and seeing the agony. 
Now, think of the awesome reality of 
these three words with that picture in 
your mind…NO MORE PAIN!
The things that cause you hurt in this
 life now, will not do so then because 
the tough times will be non-existent then.
6. NO MORE CURSE
Before the curse, there was only beauty, 
only perfection, and life giving joy. 
These things will be in abundant supply 
in the place where the curse is no more.
Dear friend the power of the cross has 
broken the power of the curse and its full 
benefit is here with us
It is the tough times that demand that our 
heart must hope in God

7. NO MORE NIGHT
Night will be no more due to the light, 
the eternal light of God Himself and His 
Christ will illuminate the place of the saved. 
What glory that will be!

You can dwell in Zion now if you desire
to do so!
You dont have to wait until you die and
go to heaven
You are a citizen of Zion now
You have access to the full benefits
of Zion now
You can live the no night, no pain, no sorrow
no death, no lack, no affliction life of Zion
now!
From the day you became a Christian
Zion became your country!
On earth, you are an ambassador
of Zion to the sons of men!
Welcome to Zion!

SIMBA

His name was simba, but he was the 
express image of Mufasa. 
He was like us, born into royalty, 
son of the King. 
He was threatened with accusations. 
Battling with guilt, he left pride rock. 
Exactly what Scar wanted. 
Into the bushes he went and Scar ruled 
over pride rock. 
Simba's territory, Simba's platform.
The land was full of evil since scar ruled. 
Famine, drought and pain. 
The hyenas took over the den of lions. 
Their cries probably ascended and 
Mufasa was probably touched. 
The only way they could be salvaged 
was if Simba took his place. 
But how can he? 
When he doesn't know who he is? 
And so destiny started to play out. 
Lala found him and tried to remind him 
of who he was. 
He didn't accept or even believe 
he was the heir. 
Until the monkey came and guided Simba 
into his identity. 
He told Simba his father wasn't up there, 
his father wasn't dead. 
His father was alive. 
And told him to look in the water. 
When he looked in the water he saw 
his reflection, when he looked harder 
he saw someone else that looked 
just like him. 
His father wasn't dead, his father 
lives in him. 
Their conversation.
Father : Simba, you've forgotten me.
Simba : No, never.
Father : You've forgotten who you are so 
you've forgotten me. 
Remember who you are.
And that was it, he knew who he 
was and ran back to take his place......... 
Lack of the knowledge of our identity 
and the will to act is the foundations for 
many misfortunes on earth.

He went to pride rock, dethroned Scar 
and got back his land. 
He was king. 
And the voice came again "REMEMBER" 
and he roared. Yes, that's it. 
His soul was starting to resonate with 
who he was.
The knowledge of who we are, 
who God has made us is Essential.
 It is here we understand our authority. 
Territories, creation and our loved ones 
will continue to be in darkness unless 
we rise.
He'll fight us, the enemy will fight us. 
With mental monsters, such as fear, 
guilt, depression, anxiety, worry. 
Just to bring you to a place where you 
lose sight of your authority. 
So he can sit on spheres and 
influence men. 
He makes you lose sight of destiny, 
so fight busyness, fight accusations. 
The world told us that "we all have 
demons in our head, we just have 
to learn to live with them" but no, 
here, we cast them out. 
Out of our minds, out of the systems 
of our lives. 
If you refuse to, men will suffer too. 
Creation waits, creation waits. 
Renew your mind. 
Everything you need to stand is what 
God has made you. BEHOLD IT.
Rise and enact zion's civilization on earth. 
Scar only did something to Simba's mind 
and that was it. 
Guard your mind and behold your identity.'
 He lives in you, Remember. 
This is why when the Holy Ghost comes 
if you pay attention to him he ushers 
you into LIGHT. 
Just as they looked at Simba and called him 
Mufasa they'll look at you and call you Christ. 
You glorify him. 
He came to their aid through you.
