What is the Supernatural?

The world defines the supernatural as you see above!

In many cultures all over the world, extramundane activities can be spotted at various places like rivers, a tree or trees surrounded by palm fronds, red cloth, white cloth marking the spot for worshipping whatever the people in such a community had deemed supernatural!

Sometimes it is something edible like candies and biscuits, sometimes it could be something weird, like a goat's head, a dead chicken or smashed eggs, and at some other times it could be fruits. at a motor park or on the street, charms hanging on the walls of a house or a shop, a candle tied behind a picture frame of Jesus, or a broom tied close to the door to ward off thieves!

Sometimes it is something edible like candies and biscuits, sometimes it could be something weird like a goat's head, a dead chicken or smashed eggs and at some other times it could be fruits.

They call such things sacrifices

An attempt to appease the demons suspected to be afflicting somebody physically, materially, psychologically, emotionally, mentally, or materially

The prevalence of spirit husbands, spirit wives, spirit children, demonic afflictions, curses, afflictions, mental afflictions, spiritual attacks, occultic/demonic organizations and churches, human sacrifices, witchcraft, all forms of sorcery and spiritual manipulations, juju and other diabolic manifestations all around attest to the fact that there is a spiritual realm with which the physical realm can engage, communicate, transact businesses and even gain mastery of!

It is delusional to adopt the mindset of those who said there is nothing to this world except the physical things we can see alone! Scientists say nothing is real until it is proven! The court of law says "If you cannot provide physical evidence of a thing then such a thing is not real! This is why a witch cannot be sued in a court of law!!!

Turning a blind eye on a fact does not make it disappear!

Ignorance is dangerous but when it comes to spiritual things, ignorance can be crippling!

A man once woke up in New York early in the morning! He dressed up, carried his briefcase, and left his apartment to resume his new job at the New York Stock Exchange! The next thing he knew, he was in his village back in Nigeria, standing in front of his mother!

He had travelled for over 12 years, and his mother had almost gone crazy with worry over the state of her son! She felt all alone in the world and would like her son to get married and raise a family, so she consulted a spiritualist to bring the young man back home!

The young man was an atheist; he did not believe in such nonsense!

The nonsense didn't care that he didn't believe!

He was back home with only his suit and briefcase!

For several years after his return, he was in a state of shock and dismay!

He would wander around the village quietly for hours! He was mentally and psychologically affected by the sudden change in his reality

Many people came to know his story and pitied him

His mother, who selfishly wanted her son to return home and be around her, found herself nursing an empty shell of a man who wasn't productive in any way!

She couldn't undo what had been done!

So many other examples abound of the invocation of the supernatural by some people with the know-how to affect, afflict, destroy, or support and promote certain causes!

Many churches set themselves up to pray against and combat these sorts of issues! The fact that many people troop to such churches attests more to the reality of the menace spiritual issues constitute in the human condition!

The instruction of Jesus was simple to all the disciples in Matthew 28:18

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We were instructed to teach all nations! We were told to teach them to observe everything!

It was not written anywhere in the Bible that we should cast out demons or conduct deliverance for a Believer!

If a believer has darkness in certain areas of his life, he will be liberated through knowledge in Christ Jesus!

2 Peter 1

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust

Knowledge of God and Knowledge of Jesus leads to (a) Multiplied grace (b) Multiplied peace

Knowledge of Jesus gives us (a) the realization that we have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness (b) realization that we have been called to glory and Virtue (c) Realization that by the exceeding great and precious promises he gave unto us we are partakers of the divine nature and (d) we have escaped the corruption that is the world through lust!

The knowledge of God should be the ultimate goal of our lives! Especially if we desire to have grace and peace!

Many of us pray, asking god to give us grace!

While this is not a wrong prayer, the scripture already told us that if we pursue an increase in the knowledge of God, we will have grace and peace!

So what are we supposed to do?

Pursue the Knowledge of God!

We are also often bogged down by wants and needs. We have bills to pay, we have stuff we need and desire to have!

That scripture also informs us that we already have all things we will ever need that pertain to life and godliness.

Glory and Virtue are already ours because that was what we were called into in Christ

We are already partakers of the divine nature

Finally, our faith, belief, and mindset can no longer be corrupted because we have escaped the corruption of the world!

This is the foundational belief of a Christian!

If a believer thinks this way, he or she would no longer dwell in the category "Give me", "Give me", "Give me"! Rather, he or she would just appropriate what had been given to him or her in the place of prayer!

That way, a believer does not have the heart of royalty and the mentality of a pauper, like many Christians do today

They call themselves prophets, priests, and kings, and beg everybody and everything!

NO!

Look at Jesus. Was he ever at a disadvantage? Was he ever in a position where he had to beg? Can Jesus be spiritually attacked? For real? The answer is no!

As he is, so are you!

The words you speak reflect the thoughts of your heart!

The thought of your heart is an indication of who you really are

Your spirit takes its cue from what you believe and acts accordingly!

Do you want to walk in the supernatural? Do you want to be spiritually dominant and unassailable? Begin to feed your spirit the right thoughts and words and back that up with the right words over and over again!

Your spirit will soar!

Hallelujah!

Confession: I have all things, I have been given all things, I have glory, I have virtue, I am a partaker of the divine nature! When I say to this "Go" it must go, and when I say to this "Come" it must come! Demons tremble at my presence, Angels glorify God through me, men magnify the name of the Lord through me! My whole body is full of light! My eyes are single, my thoughts are focused, darkness can find nothing in me, I am light! Hallelujah!!! I am the light of Jesus, shining forth in the power of the gospel, spreading abroad the aroma of Christ!

Thank you, Jesus, my life is hidden in you! Glory"

Pray in the Holy Ghost and confess this over and over again!
