Finally, I get the gist.
A man married one wife. That wife has a friend, and the friend loved the way the man was loving her friend and how he was so generous with her friend.
The man and his wife talked about this friend one day and the man asked his wife if she could help him talk to her friend to become his second wife.
The man and his wife felt their relationship needed a bit of spicing up and they felt this friend could be the spice.
The friend didn't really like the idea, but she could see how rich the friend's husband was and she wanted that kind of access to the man's wealth too. So, she felt it was a good trade off.
She becomes wife number two, and he gets to treat her the same way he treats his wife or even better than that because she was the younger wife.
She agreed to the proposal and moved into the same apartment with the man and his wife. However, she realized she was just a third wheel.
The man and his wife loved each other specially and she was always being cut out or playing catch up in the relationship.
He did not treat her as an equal with the first wife.
She tried everything she could to be loved and to feel loved but there was always that vacuum.
She eventually got tired of feeling left out of the triad by the man and his first wife and expressed how she felt.
She did this first through her actions as she became aggressive in demanding love and later, she became very vocal and unruly in demanding for inclusion.
The man and the first wife had a meeting and decided she did not have the required temperament to fit into the marriage as they expected.
He therefore called for a meeting and told the second wife they were no longer interested in the marriage.
Since they didn’t get married legally, any member of the triad had the right to call the relationship off at any time.
The second wife agreed that they needed a break, but she felt they didn’t really need to break up.
She wanted a fair treatment and to be loved as an equal.
Her issue was not with the senior wife whom she loved and still regarded as a friend
She came into the relationship for the goodies that was promised but she realized that the man was giving the first wife more goodies than he was giving her and when she even asked him for money, he gave her a loan and didn’t give her the money outright.
If they had to buy something, the other wife's bill was automatically covered by the man, but she had to pay her fair share.
It was not as rewarding as she had expected, and she was willing to make the union work of the man would show her the same level of commitment.
She made this known, expecting the man to profess his love and promise to do better.
Rather than do this, the man wrote to her and demanded a repayment of an amount he loaned to her some months earlier.
It was shocking to her that he demanded repayment because she knew he gave the first wife much more than that for free.
So, of what use was the union to her?
She felt used and short changed.
Out of anger and heartbreak, she cried out on social media, and the thing became a huge scandal because the man dressed funny and had a very dark side that made him look like a small masquerade from Ajilete village.
She didn't want to pay him back the money and felt she could prevent the repayment somehow, but she couldn't.
So, she repaid and cried a lot.
She ate with the devil with a short spoon and the devil in his usual manner ate her with lunch.
She found this to be very unfair.
Ps: Finally, I get all the polycular and molecular gist. My mind had to simplify it. I hope I didn’t miss out anything.
