I remember the panic that year, two of my colleagues who were both born-again Christians in their forties started doing this hush-hush thing in the office. One was a PA and the other was an accountant the PA had been married for twelve years and was still waiting to have a child. The accountant had been married for fifteen years and had two children, I was in my late thirties at the time both of them believed they were my seniors in the faith and life and they felt some things should be kept between them or themselves to spare them ridicule and/or in order not for me to think of them as weak in faith or not getting the desired results in the place of prayer.

 At first, I didn’t notice the clandestine activities but it soon became a buzz in the office. What were they both doing together all the time? There was a third colleague, he was my age mate and he was unmarried at the time he had been battling with ICAN for years and was determined that he would not get married until he had passed all his exams This guy came to me one afternoon and said “Brother Gbenga, I am getting worried about my future. These guys (referring to our colleagues) are losing the ability to sleep with their wives and they are using all sorts of herbs and concoctions in secret to remedy the issue.  I am not married but the lady I plan to get married to came to my house a few days ago.  I met her at home when I got home from the office, she had cooked and cleaned up the house and said she was too tired to drive back to her parent’s house ..Sir, she later came to me that night to make out with me and I discovered that my key was flat It didn’t even turn inside the key holder. I don’t want to lose this woman but the way she has been acting since that day is scary. 

Please are you experiencing the same thing? What can I do? Wow. There was a woman who came to the office often those days She sold massage machines, some supplements, and so on. The two brothers I mentioned earlier had been collecting stimulants and supplements from this woman I didn’t know it was about their keys not opening the right keyhole. Sometimes when I give them a ride in my car from the office the two of them would be talking in codes again, not my business  I put all these thoughts together while having a chat with the brother that came to me. Sex is a big deal for men and women the inability to perform on the bed had led many into depression and some even committed suicide I understood the issues clearly The next morning, during our office devotion (We were all working in a church office) I brought up something I saw in the book of Romans 8:11 “but if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal body by His Spirit that dwells in you! I explained to them that there is vitality in the word of God These words were not for sword drills and memory verses, they were written for the practical application of believers. Please eat right and rest, make sure you exercise your body as often as possible but let the word of God be your medicine! Let the Holy Spirit in you be unleashed for the good of your body and your health.

 Everything is not “use the tongue to confuse the enemy” Use your tongue to set the right course for your life and your body to follow, when you notice that the key is not turning early in the morning as it used to, don’t say “Old age is coming” or start running around like a headless chicken Don’t panic, speak to your body and grab madam Madam, the same applies to you, don’t complain Pray in the Holy Ghost and Roar (Sha’gar) to your body, say to yourself “I am young, strong, powerful and able By my God I ride upon the wing of Eagles When my husband comes home today he must collect till he shouts Glory!
 Ps: I just got off the phone with the brother who was writing ICAN His wife delivered a baby girl, he called screaming “Talk to your body, O sise, O gbera” Glory!!! Hahahahaha
