Behold!!!
Romans 3:4: Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar.”
If you say something different from what God has said, you are a liar.
Look at my life I’ve been a Christian but it’s full of sins. Yeah, the reason it’s full of sins is because you have looked at the wrong thing. You become what you see.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the initiator and the consummator of our faith. Why does he want us looking? Because as we look at the glory of God in a mirror. When we look at a mirror, we see ourselves. When we look at the word of God which is the mirror of God, we see the glory of God – meaning we are the glory of God and the more we look we are metamorphosed.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
As we look, we are changed. As we look, we are changed. If you look down you will be changed back to what you have been seeing. What you see is what you become. Look at the glory of God in a mirror. That means he is calling me the glory of God. He’s calling the word of God the mirror. And he’s saying when I look in the mirror, I see the glory of God.
When I look in the mirror, I see me. I don’t see you. I ought to see me in the mirror. He says what I see in the mirror is the glory of God. Therefore, I am the glory of God.
Sure! I am the glory of God and I am going to act that way.
Christianity is seeing and going the way you see.
1 John 1:7 If we walk in the light as He is in the light – I have to walk in the light. The light says I am His branch and He is the vine and therefore I am holy. So, I walk in the light as He is in the light.
He lives in the light of my holiness. Where God dwells, He sees me holy. He sees me righteous. He sees me as His own glory. God is using a particular kind of light to look at me. I am using the light in this world to look at me. So, when I look at me in this world’s light I see darkness, I see sin, I see inability, I see everything negative.
Then I look at me in His light. I almost can’t believe it. It’s too good to be true. He calls me the glory of God. He calls me the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. What I need to do is to walk in the light as He is in the light.
As I walk in the light He sees me as the righteousness of God – so I see me as the righteousness of God. If I walk in the light as He is in the light then we have fellowship, meaning partnership, meaning I have signed the contract.
We are going together now. That thing has become real in my life. Praise God. I like to walk in the light of my redemption. He lives in the light of my redemption. God sees me as redeemed.
