Dare to believe

Many had gotten disillusioned by the antics of charlatans who profess to preach the gospel of Christ

So many had fallen for the complicated gospel of men with a sprinkling of Christ and had been led far from the fountain of living waters

The gospel had always been simple

Simple!!

Don't talk to God about the mountain

Speak directly as an authority to the mountain

Rather than say "Father I commit this sick person into your hands, please heal such''

You say "I command you sickness, in the name of Jesus, leave this person's body now"

Sickness bows to Christ

He didn't know this

He was brought up to believe miracles are not to be worked but an intervention of God upon whomsoever he wills

He became a pastor and saw the pain and misery of many

Broken lives, marriages, and hearts of many who profess to be Christians

He felt very helpless

Lord, what can I do?

It is true you said in the world we shall experience tribulations but you stated clearly that you have overcome the world

Why are we not having the promised victories?

Why are we languishing in pain, wants, needs and victimization?

He cried for many days

Then he heard it

A pastor came to his church and said believers can raise the dead

He asked the Pastor, Sir, have you ever raised the dead

Pastor said NO

He took his bicycle, walked round his village shouting "Is there anybody dead here?, I can raise the dead!"

He had to try

He looked so foolish!

He found a 5 hours old corpse

He asked, can I raise her?The parents had nothing to lose

If her raised her she lives

If he failed to raise her she was already dead

He told the parents to leave the room

He prayed

He said child in the name of Jesus rise!

The three year old girl sneezed and she came to life

Whao!

That was the beginning of great exploits through him

He discovered that it was not about being title, religion or theology

It was all about believing and trusting in the name of Jesus

He went on to raise the dead 8 times

There are Pastors who bury the dead

We need them

There are also pastors who would dare to raise the dead

We need them too

If i die beside you today, this minute

What would you do?

Bury me or raise me from the dead?

And if you die right now

Which option would you prefer I take?

The dead have a duty to bury the dead

Jesus never held a funeral service

Neither did he condemn burying the dead

He said his followers have definite signs and wonders to show the world

You dont have to be a Pastor, Prophet or Apostle

All you need is belief

And dare to obey Jesus

If indeed he upheld the whole world with the word of His power

You have the authority as a believer

To turn reality on its head

And cast mountains far away into the sea

Bringing joy to many

And bringing salvation to many more

In the name of Jesus

Would you dare to believe today?
