ERROR

He wasn't an exceptional student
It wasn't as a result of unseriousness
He did the very best he could!
Even as bad as many may say his result was
He didn't have an extra year or even an extra semester
He graduated with a third class
He was just not programmed for the academic way
His father was the one who insisted he must get a degree
He had told his Father right from the outset that he wanted to go into trade
His Father kept saying 
"I didn't get an education, my children must get an education" 
Typical of a non-literate mentality was the stubborn nature
Nobody could reason with his Father
To His Father, education was the only necessity in life
When he didn't pass is WAEC examination in time
His Father got a "professional" assistant for him
The professional assistant sat right beside him in the examination hall
The professional assistant wrote all his papers
THe professional assistant was an undergraduate
He was handsomely compensated for his job
When the result was released
He had all A's 
Nobody who knew him could reconcile him with the result
Even when he got to the University and tried to boast with the result
Everybody laughed at him
It was like a mosquito boasting it killed an elephant
Even when there are witnesses, it wont be believed!
He had many resits while in school
His father became friends with many of his lecturers
Somehow he started passing some courses
Eventually and miraculously he graduated
Immediately he was able to collect his certificate he took it home to his Father
"Daddy, this belongs to you! I will like to go into business now"
His Father was into the importation of computer systems, security gadgets, 
electronic gadgets, media equipments, telephones and their accessories 
He had business partners in Japan, China, Korea, Europe and America
His Father got offended
"You are an ingrate! I have plans for you!!
You will go to school in America or Europe
You will earn yourself a doctorate degree
Then you will get married to a befitting wife
Then you will get my blessings
I have spoken to some friends of mine in America
Getting you admitted, even with a third class wouldn't be difficult
You will first have to do a course for eighteen months
After that you will be ready for your Masters degree
The PH.D will follow immediately
You are twenty four years old at this moment
By the time you are thirty-four or thirty five
You would have achieved these goals and be set for life!"
"But Daddy, all i want to do is business! I hate school!"
He protested
His Father will have none of it!
He walked away from his Father's room that day 
determined to follow his own path in life
He went to see three of his Father's respected friends
He told them the issue at hand
They promised they would speak with his Father
He also went to see his Father's relatives, those his Father could listen to
They also promised they would wade in
He prayed and fasted
"O Lord change my Father's heart"
But his Father's heart was made of steel
His father's ego was bigger than the whole of heaven
What could God have done?
The more they tried to talk sense to the wild boar
The more determined it became to uproot a kola nut tree
Every one he sent to his Father came out of the discussion in a bad shape
His Father hated the intrusion into his family affairs
And as it was typical of self made people
His Father simply wouldn't bend to anybody's counsel
His only option was to return home with his tails in between his legs
Or to leave home and try to strike gold on his own
His Father had threatened to disown him if he dare disobey his instructions
He decided to tow the path of wisdom
He will keep the fox within and wear the toga of a sheep
When he got to Europe or America he will follow his dream
A week after he succumbed to his father's will
His father sent him to the bank to make some payments
He got to the cashier
She told him to wait for a moment as she had to do something
She stood up and left
He stood there
Suddenly, he got a whim or was it a nudge?
An idea flashed through his mind
He could actually stamp his teller
Leave the bank
Give his father the teller as evidence of payment
Take the money and leave home
Go somewhere far away and start his business
Be free of the tyrant he called "Daddy"
He had filled the teller
The total amount of money he wanted to deposit was #10,000,000.00
He took the stamp and stamped his teller
He did it very quickly
Nobody noticed
He didn't have to make it precise
All he needed was the mark of a stamp on the teller
He left the queue
Started making his way out of the bank
He had gotten as far as his car
He had returned the bag of cash to his booth
He was about to get into the vehicle when the mobile 
police man stationed at the bank stopped him
The Teller came rushing out, followed by two other staff members of the bank
"Hold him, arrest him, don't let him go"
The mobile Policeman grabbed him by the waist
He was dragged into the banking hall
"Why did you touch the bank's stamp?"
"What document were you stamping"
"Are you planning to perpetrate a fraud on the bank?"
He stammered on and on
They found the stamped documents on him
They found the cash
The CCTV recorded his actions
He was in hot peppery soup!
He remembered his elder sister telling him earlier that day
Don't go to the bank, dont go out today
I had a dream that you did something that landed you in prison
He had dismissed the dream immediately after he was told
And now...."
Within an hour he found himself at the police station
He wrote his statement, tried to explain that he meant no harm
But the evidence was stacked against him
He had practically used the Bank's stamp to claim he deposited #10,000,000.00
He had been caught red handed with his hand in the till!
His Father couldn't believe it when he heard
His own son committing a fraud
His own son trying to dupe a bank?
His own son caught on camera robbing a bank?
He had tried to think of several excuses to give his Father
But none made any sense except for him to say 
it was his ghost or doppelganger that did it
His Father asked him just once
Did you do this?
He said YES!
His Father disowned him!
His elder sisters got some money to pay for his bail
Now he has a case in court
And he is looking at a possible jail time
The bank insisted on prosecuting the case
He had no defense but insanity!
He has found himself in the middle of the dead sea
He has found himself in the valley of the shadow of death
He is scared of evil
He doesn't even know if God is with him!

PS: This event is still unfolding in Ibadan
I have seen the Spirit of Error in operation so many times
It has a way of tying up loose ends
If anybody gets caught in its trap
Such a person will be left without a way of escape
Many people are dead because of it
Many people are in prison because of it
I pray for you and your family members
The spirit of error will never make a victim of you in Jesus name 

Secondly, don't swallow evil dream hook, line and sinker
You have a say in your own destiny
Don't allow the spirit of error to be birthed 
into your spirit by someone's evil dream
