One wrong move

She made up her mind that Night, it is over.

She rehearsed over and over again how she will break the news to him.

He will take it hard, she knows this but she is determined to move on

She: I will let him settle down and gently explain to him that this relationship is over.

I have met someone else and - No I won't say I have met someone else, I will wish him well and encourage him to find another lady to marry...

Slowly dawn came

He arrived at 10am as promised

He looked and smelled so good

She wanted to speak, he pulled her close, she pulled back

He: What is the problem?

Her tongue stuck

He pulled her close

She started to cry

He: What is the problem?

I brought everything you requested for, even the money

She: Can we take a stroll?

They walked slowly through the streets, her mind was racing, how do I tell him?

He did everything to please her making it more difficult to break his heart.

But she has to

She is pregnant!

One stupid LUDO game with her next door neighbour was all it took and ...

They got to a football field. A game was on.

Somebody called his name. They turned around and she saw...wow!

The lady ran into his arms, he carried her and swirled her round and round.

Lady: I couldn't believe it was you.

He: What are you doing here?

Lady: I came to spend valentine with my boyfriend

He introduced them. She was his ex, they lost touch 5 years ago

She panicked.

As they left the football field, she turned to him and said "I am pregnant"

He stopped.

What did you say?

She: I am two months pregnant

He was above the moon!

He ran to the Priest, they fixed a wedding day

At first she felt guilty but events came thick and fast

Family, shopping, ante-natal, a new car...

A week to her wedding, she returned from the mall and met the neighbour and her fiancé whispering. His mood turned afterwards. He fell silent. Kept staring into space.

Ha! I am dead. Fear rushed in. She sneaked out of the back door and ran to her parents’ house. She quickly told her mother the truth. Tears!

He searched everywhere for her, called her phone but she wouldn't pick. He came to their house the next morning. Everybody was prepared for war. Her father was contrite, spoke with him gently and invited her to come and explain!

She told him the truth!

This pregnancy is not yours, I know the neighbour has told you the truth. I am sorry. Please forgive me

He listened carefully.

Stood up to leave, got to the door and turned. He said "Our neighbour came to inform me that the wedding ring I ordered from his company will be delayed

He: That was why I was silent. I didn't want to break your heart with the news.

7 months later she delivered a baby boy. He looked exactly like him.

He came around with the police, did DNA test. It was confirmed!

He was the father!

He took his baby.

He went to court, fought with everything he had. The judge awarded him the baby because she has no job and couldn't cater for the child!

Four years later she met him at a party, she knelt down, apologized, begged! He took her back.

The family has been together for 6 years
