How Can These Things Be? 

In 1993, I got home from school and my eldest sister asked me to accompany her to Ashi area in Ibadan.

 We were living on the other side of the expressway Alagbayun close to Bolajoko estate she said the Bible Society of Nigeria went to a secondary school in Ashi to sell Bibles and she told a friend to buy some for her ,the name of the school is Muslim high school . We also needed to grind the beans we wanted to use to make Moinmoin that day so I said I will follow her .

My duty was to grind the beans and after that I would follow her to see her friend after her lessons at Muslim High school in Bashorun .

 We left home  she was 17 and I was 12 somewhere on Ashi road a taxi veered off the only oar and hit my sister, she was knocked into the pavement and  she lost some teeth and the upper lip she was in the hospital for about six months after the accident .

Today as I landed at Copenhagen I saw a woman, a carbon copy of my sister ,this woman was with her husband  when I saw them I froze .The resemblance was uncanny Why? My sister had to do plastic surgery as doctors had to cut meat from her body thigh to create another upper lip for her. Till today she still had a mark on that lip to show what she had gone through .The woman I saw had the same scar and she looked 100% like my sister I had to blink about 100 times to while looking at her Later I approached her and told her I came to Denmark as part of my Tour of Europe and she was what I saw was shocking me.

 She told me she had an accident in 1993, March 12 in Kenya that led me to her losing three teeth and her upper lip ,she said had four surgeries (just like my eldest sister and her thigh was cut to create another upper lip for her by the plastic surgeon, just like my eldest sister) I was shocked to the marrow If you put this lady beside my sister in a picture you won’t be able to spot any difference! Her own accident happened when she was in secondary school too, in 1993, while fleeing a fire incident in her school, she jumped out of the window as other students did but she landed awkwardly and cut her lip and broke her teeth on the pavement of the ditch just outside her school area! Her husband who had watched our conversation from the beginning had to say God is Great! I agree! God is very great!!! How can these things be?
