The Phone Call

So my grandmother called me on 
December 24, 2019 
I couldn't pick the call because 
I was ministering somewhere. 
I would usually call her back but I didn't 
I know her and I didn't want to tell her 
anything that would give her high blood 
pressure 
She is well into her 90s
I was in Ibadan on the 29th when 
she called again 
My younger brother was with me 
Again I was preparing for a ministration 
So I asked my younger brother to pick 
the call and tell my grandmother that 
I will call her back 
My younger brother picked the call, 
my grandmother recognized his voice! 
My grandmother assumed she had 
dialed the wrong brother 
My younger brother said she called the 
right number but I couldn't pick because 
I was preparing for a ministration 
My grandmother said "Ministration! 
Preaching! On the altar!" 
My younger brother said "Yes!"
My grandmother said "Tell him to call 
me as soon as possible" I laughed 
I know my grandma very well 
I can read her mind 
I know what she was going to say! 
I returned to Lagos 
I didn't call her 
By the next morning, I saw 16 missed calls 
I knew I couldn't dodge it for much longer...
I called her 
She greeted me 
She wanted to know when I became preacher 
I told her I started accepting invitations 
years ago 
I also told her I still had my businesses and all 
Then she said it! "Do not abuse witches o 
Do not preach against bad spirits and 
people o, please, be wise
I laughed 
She said "Alayede, I am not joking! 
I am serious! 
I have seen those beings at work since 
I was young! Don't make them angry!"
 I couldn't stop laughing! 
I am not of the first Adam 
I am of the second Adam, 
the Lord from Above! 1 Cor 15:47 
I am from above! 
I am of Christ
Christ lives in me
