Where do you rank Jesus in the list of your 
prophets?
I have come across Pastors who preach all 
their sermons from the Book of Psalm!
I know Pastors who study Moses and 
patterned their personal development after him, 
I know Christians who love and want to be like 
Elijah and Elisha! 
Daniel is the favourite of many!
While it is good to study all those Apostle 
Peter said spoke as the Holy Spirit moved 
them, it is good to remember 
that they were men, flawed! Jesus said 
"John the Baptist is greater than 
all of them but the least of US "Believers" is 
greater than John himself
So in your ranking let your spiritual reality 
be reflected! You don't rank those Jesus 
said are lower than you as 
higher than you! Unless of course you don't 
understand what you became in Jesus! 
When the person of Jesus is revealed to you 
by the Holy Spirit, you will get it!
Jesus is the Word of God in Genesis - Malachi, 
The Word made Flesh in the gospels, 
the Living Word to the Church! 
He is the one in whom we dwell! 
The entire church both Triumphant and 
Militant draw life from Him! He has no equal, 
no rival and your reality must align with this!
Don't be one of those who lightly esteem Him! 
Don't make jokes with His name, don't 
disregard Him in your heart! 
Honour Him! 
Heaven and Earth and all of nature obey Him! 
Be careful not to align yourself against Him! 
God has highly exalted him! Exalt Him too! 
He is the difference

FREEDOM

31. Then said Jesus to those Jews which 
believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then 
are ye my disciples indeed;
32. And ye shall know the truth, and the 
truth shall make you free.
33. They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, 
and were never in bondage to any man; how 
sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say 
unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the 
servant of sin.
35. And the servant abideth not in the house 
for ever; but the Son abideth ever.
36. If the Son therefore shall make you 
free, ye shall be free indeed.

LOVE IS YOUR LIFE

I asked her what the illness was 
She said “measles”
I cringed inside
How do I lay my hands on somebody with a 
popular contagious skin disease in the 
name of Jesus!
It makes no sense to put your hand in the 
fire just to prove a point
I applied “wisdom”
I spoke to the measles
As I left the meeting
The Holy Spirit said “You were scared you 
will contact measles!”
I said “Yes”
He didn’t say anything
Some days later, a cousin came over to 
my house from the north
He had an interview in Lagos
He started feeling feverish in the evening
By the next morning...
Measles had broken out!
I was extremely irritated!
How can someone come to my house from 
the north to come and infect it!
I had to take him to the hospital and 
disinfect the house constantly
It was a horrible time!
The doctors said “it will take a few days to 
clear totally”
A few days later, it has not cleared!
I needed him to get better so that he 
can leave my house
I had spent so much and it was no longer funny
I could have told him to leave but it would 
create bad blood
I had to stick with it and hope for the best
It was indeed a horrible time...
After a month of treatment, he still wasn’t 
better
Had to take him to a specialist
Who said “This could be worse 
than measles”
I panicked!
I started complaining 
I said all sorts 
I was angry at my cousin
I hated the inconvenience
I hated been exposed to his ailment
He should go!
Later that night, the Holy Spirit said 
“Lay your hand on him and heal him!”
I shook my head
The Holy Spirit said “Perfect love casts 
out fear! You cannot walk in power without 
my love being birthed in your 
spirit! Yield to love above self”
I was very desperate
I did it grudgingly
By the next morning the ailment had 
cleared completely!
Just like that.
My cousin was grateful
He apologized for causing me so much 
inconvenience 
I asked him to forgive me
I was acting in my carnal capacity
He forgave me and didn’t mention it to anybody!
I learned my lesson!
For believers “Love is key”
It is the more excellent way
It is the spirit of the Father that gave us the son
Love is the nature of God
Love is the secret of divine power
Love is the sustaining secret of longevity 
and relevance
Without love, everything we do in 
“Him” is nothing!

REST

It is not strange to read or hear a believer 
saying “This born again thing” is not working!
They were told that once they gave their 
lives to Christ, everything will become new, 
there will be a transformation 
and a turn around in their lives! 
They believed it and longed for it
But it didn’t happen!
After they had believed and confessed 
Jesus as Lord and Saviour, they joined the 
church and went through the 
baptismal class, new believers class and 
other classes! They started dressing 
in a certain way to church in a form of conformity 
but it was outward!
There was no change on the inside! 
The thief still stole, the liar continued to lie, 
the fornicator still fornicated, 
But this time, they had to pretend they were 
no longer this way! This made them 
more dangerous to the church and the world 
because they now operate as agents
Of light while they were darkness!
People trusted them easily and as a result, 
they took advantage of those who assumed 
they were what they claimed to be!
It is natural to hear people say “I can never
 trust a pastor or a Christian” due to a this 
experience or that experience
I was once like those confused Christians! 
I was a total calamity as a believer between 
2004 and 2007! 
I preached, I taught, I understood the gospel 
but it was not real in my life!
 I was terrible! I tried to be better, I tried to 
do better, I fasted and prayed and cried! 
Zero!!!
I was a tongue-talking Christian and
 I  love the Lord and yet...
I was the best hypocrite ever!
I did many evil things that my reputation as 
a Christian covered for! 
People just didn’t believe I did them because 
they couldn’t reconcile such acts with who
 they saw in public...
Sin was a burden! I was dying under it! 
One night I read my Bible and cried to 
the Holy Spirit! 
I said “Cigarettes and alcohol are killing me, 
masturbation was damaging me 
and yet I was suffering in isolation 
because I couldn’t tell anybody I was 
doing these things! Help me!”
The Holy Spirit came to me that night! 
He said “Rest! Stop struggling” 
I didn’t get it!
How?
I had been taught that I have a doing part 
(Work out your salvation with fear and trembling)
He said “No! Trust me and rest”
As long as you continue to struggle, 
you will be a calamity
He said “After Phillip baptized the Ethiopian 
Eunuch, I took him away! 
No follow up or instructions were given to him! 
Philip trusted me to keep my children! 
Trust me too! 
So I stopped struggling!
A few days later a lady came visiting, 
we were right in the middle of foreplay
When I lost the urge to sleep with her! 
It had never happened to me before! 
I wanted to sleep with her but I couldn’t. 
I remember watching her dress up and 
saying to myself “Don’t be a slacker” and yet...! 
It was the very first time sin was divinely 
checkmated in my life!
There was no thunder from heaven! I found 
my rest in Him! The lying tongue, covetousness, 
masturbation, smoking and drinking all left. 
I realized i was full of love! 
I couldn’t judge 
others because I didn’t do anything! 
I couldn’t brag about it! I just 
felt loved and joyful!
Somebody told me “When sinners cry bitterly for 
their sins they won’t sin again! It is a lie!!!! 
Except the Lord builds a believer, 
they Labour in vain that builds him or her! 
Self determination and 
performance is a dud! We have too many 
pretending believers! It is time to REST!

DIVINELY DECLARED

David was anointed as the King of Israel at 
the age of 17. God said to Samuel “I have seen a 
man after my own heart 
in the family of Jesse, go and anoint him”
Once He was anointed, he became a King in 
the sight of God!
But in “reality” he walked into a season of struggle
First he killed Goliath, then he played music 
for a mentally disturbed King Saul, then Saul 
was stirred to envy by some 
women singing of David’s greatness and David 
became an assassination 
target! 
The entire priests of Nob and their 
families were killed for helping 
David
David has to run for his life. He relocated his 
entire family, including his parents to philistine, 
he was a wanted man with 
King Saul’s bounty hanging on his head! 
David was betrayed by spies, 
insulted by Nabal, saved by the whiskers at Keila, 
got his family kidnapped at Ziklag
Those who came to support him were the 
“nobodies”. It looked as if God had lied! 
David wrote many psalms depicting 
his state of mind according to the “reality” he 
saw in the flesh! 
But God knows no man after the flesh! 
God is a spirit!
 When he changed Jacob’s name to Israel...
...Jacob was still limping and looking like a loser! 
Long after He renamed Abram Abraham, 
Abraham was still childless!
 When I hear people say “I know what God said 
but I am facing reality 
here” I shake my head at their ignorance!
 What God "said" is the only reality that matters.
We are moved too much by emotions,
 we infuse stories and experiences into the word 
of God and trip ourselves 
with the odd mixture such creates. 
Leave your experiences alone and hold 
on to God’s Word!
The word has the power to make you what 
God said if you stick to it!
By declaration, God called Abraham Righteous, 
By declaration, God called Lot Righteous, 
By Declaration God called Jacob his beloved, 
By Declaration God called David a man 
after His heart, 
By Declaration God said those who believe 
in Jesus have eternal life! 
Stop Arguing! Believe!!!
