Whose Will?

She was in the university when she met the Man of God!

A prophet that came to their school to minister at the

Joint student's fellowship!

She remembered that day like yesterday! 
The programme was supposed to hold 
for three days She didnt plan on attending 
She was a believer, but
She was not the type that gets giddy 
over the presence of any man of God! 
She believed in serving God in spirit and 
in truth at her own capacity! 
After the ministration of that first day, 
her roommate cane to the room and told 
her the Man of God called her name! 
What? How? Why?
She was full of questions! 
Some men of God operate in such a 
dimension! 
They would call names, see visions and 
deliver messages/prophesies! 
She was extremely skeptical of such 
moves of the spirit! 
The spirit of divination can also operate 
the same way! 
Many a time people are
Just too caught up in the spectacular to 
tell the difference! 
Her friend did everything to convince her 
to come for the meeting the second day! 
She agreed reluctantly! 
They got to the church at about 5 pm! 
The Man of God looked at her after the 
service and said so many good things
And then he said "Concerning your marital 
destiny, you have to be careful so that you 
do not become a second wife or a single 
mother or a side chick" 
Wow! It was shocking! 
She was just twenty-two years old and 
marriage was the last thing on her mind! 
She could never even imagine
Herself being any of those things! 
Her parents are happily married and she 
had always known God would settle her 
maritally when the time comes! 
Her friend also saw the man of God! 
The man of God told her friend that 
"You are in a relationship! 
Make sure you marry him because
If you fail to marry him, you may never 
get another shot at marriage!" 
When they got to the room, they both 
discussed the man's prophecy! 
It was strange that he got many "known" 
things right but delivered a veiled or 
cloudy message regarding their 
"marital destinies"!
She wished
She didnt go for that meeting! 
The prophecy unsettled her! 
About a week after the meeting, 
the guy she was dating left her! 
He was in final year and didnt seem 
to see her as a part of his future! 
She wasn't fazed! 
She kept her head down and faced 
her studies! 
Her friend worked hard at her 
relationship! 
She tried everything to make sure she 
married her man 
But her man left her 
He left her for a beautiful lady who came 
to their school as a transfer student 
Her friend almost killed herself with 
weeping 
The prophecy of the man of God really got 
to her
They graduated! 
Her friend moved to Lagos 
She stayed in Abuja 
Life started happening to the two of them 
She met a guy 
He was divorced with a son 
They got into a relationship 
She was careful 
She took her time before she got intimate 
with him 
She really loved him with all her heart
Then she started getting strange phone calls 
From a lady at first 
And then from other ladies 
One even claimed she was pregnant for him 
When she confronted him 
He said he was told to marry the next lady 
that got pregnant for him 
Since she didnt get pregnant, 
she obviously couldn't be his wife! 
She couldn't believe it! 
How could she get pregnant before marriage 
How warped could a mindset be? 
The breakup really hurt her 
She moved on! 
Her friend met a guy who really loved her 
The guy's mother went to pray about it! 
Her friend was disqualified supernaturally
They both remained close and discussed 
their ordeal! 
For almost a year, she didnt meet anybody 
interested in her that way 
She was twenty-five years old 
She still had a lot of things she wanted to 
achieve before settling down 
But she was hoping to have a 
relationship or courtship
That would last for a year or two 
So that she can get married at 27 or 28! 
She prayed and fasted 
Then she noticed a change in the trend 
Married men honed in on her! 
They came on to her from everywhere 
One wanted her as a third wife 
One wanted her as a second wife 
Another wanted her to bear children 
for him 
They were all very serious 
Unfortunately, the single guys didnt 
seem to see her 
She started considering it 
Half bread was better than none 
Even her friend started envying her 
At least she had many men (Though married) 
saying "hi, I want you" 
Her friend had no one!
Her parents kicked against her getting 
involved with married people! 
She knew they would 
She was getting older and frustrated 
She hated being alone without a mate 
Many said it was not a big deal 
But not for her! 
She just wanted to move on from 
being a spinster

was fast! 
She finished her education in record time 
It was only in the issue of marriage that 
she got stuck!

and her entire system seemed to be upside 
down! 
He prayed with her

Later she told him about the prophet 
and the prophecy 
She said she was shocked it seemed 
to be coming to pass!
He laughed! He told her the principle of 
prophecy was not applied properly! 
While the prophet was prophesying, 
another prophet should have been present 
to judge the prophecy and correct any 
wrongly spoken word! 
It is very easy for prophets to err 
without a second ear! 
Her destiny had been acting in concert 
with what she heard! 
He told her she would get married! 
She would meet a dashing young man 
and get married! 
The prophecy was not set in stone 
It could be changed! 
And he has changed it!

She told him about her friend 
Her friend was already depressed
He met with her friend in Lagos 
He prayed for her and set her on course
 with the Word of God! 
He said "You have not missed your stop, 
the settings have been rearranged!
 You will meet your man and you will 
get married within six months!" 
Her friend met her man the following 
week!
Wow! 
Her friend got married within six months! 
The brother in Jeans and T-shirt called her 
What is going on? 
Why is there a delay in your manifestation? 
She told him the truth! 
"I am sleeping with a married man, 
I don't know why but the man was very 
kind to me and I was lonely"

told her she should remember! 
You have a responsibility to work with 
the Word or Work against it! 
She got it! 
She was happy for her friend 
But she had suddenly changed her mind 
She will be happy if she got married or not 
For the moment she just wanted to go with 
the flow 
See where the river of chance will lead her!
