She was born a twin
Her twin sister died at birth
Before she was born, her mother
had given bith to a set of twins
five times
All the babies died after childbirth
or were stillbirths
Her mother had gone everywhere
for a cure
She had eaten all sorts
Her problem was premature labour
all the babies came in their sixth of 
seventh month
There were no incubators at the time
Western technology was still in the west
All they had was the little the local
witchdoctors and the dispensary 
provided by the Baptist church in the
village
She was born by 6:15 AM
She was premature, just like her sister
Her sister died immediately
But she fought for life
The doctors had never seen anything like it
She was covered with cotton wool and
bound with bandages
She was so tiny, so unformed and yet
she lived
Her mother fed her by dropping the breast
milk in her mouth
It was a drop at a time
But she fought hard and she prevailed
She was looking like any other baby
by the time she was a year old
She was a miracle
The church supported her parents with
everything
She was a reference point to many as
the evidence of the power of God
Her mother wouldn't say it in the open
but a lot of witch doctors also contributed
their widow's mite
Her mother was born and raised a pagan
The whole church thing was hazy to her
The church baptized her and gave her
a name after she married her Christian
husband but she still practiced her
pagan beliefs in secret
She grew fast
Her father was a farmer and a good man
But she was partial to her mother
Her mother was a business tycoon
She was her mother's heartbeat
When she became a teenager
Her mother called her into the room
and told her she had to get married 
before she clocked 25
There was something that was done
for her at birth
It was done with the spirit of her
twin sister
It would bring her great wealth but
should she fail to marry before
she clocked 25
It would expire
She didn't know what to make of it
Her mother told her that she had
nightmares for several months after
giving birth to her
In her nightmares, she would see
herself carrying a baby while another
one would follow her everywhere
crying and wailing
Her mother said after several weeks
of enduring the same persistent and
restless experience
She decided to consult the elders
The elders told her the twins couldn't
be separated
The dead one would either be brought
into the land of the living or the living
one will join the dead
There was no other option
The sacrifice was done in the dead of
the night
When it was all over she was given a
powder
The powder would be mixed with the
meal the living one will eat before
having sex for the first time
She must marry as a virgin and have
sex for the first time immediately after
eating the meal
This would bring her twin sister into
the union
She and her husband would give birth
to her dead sister
In turn, her dead sister's spirit would
bring them great wealth
She would have as many children as
she wanted but only for that one man
She must never leave her husband
If her husband dies, the spell will be 
broken
She and her children will live but
they wouldn't have the promised 
wealth
If she left her husband it would be
the same fate
She was studying for her National
Certificate of Education when
she met her husband
He was from a very poor background
They met at the table tennis court
She played quite well and he was one
of her admirers
He was four years older than her
They started seeing each other
Touches led to kisses and kisses led to
other intimate things
She told him about the marriage thing
He told her he wanted to marry her
but he couldn't afford it yet
She told him to come home with her
and meet her mother
He followed her home
They met her mother
Her mother told him she would sponsor
the wedding and help them with
accommodation and whatever else they
might need
He couldn't believe his luck
His parents were all for it
They got married
He did everything she and her mother
wanted
She was twenty-four years old when they
got married
He was twenty-eight
The marriage was a huge success
They settled down in Ibadan
Her mother rented a three-bedroom flat
for them
She paid two years rent
By the time the rent expired, they were
living in their own house
He started a block making venture
It was like hitting a jackpot
They became wealthy in no time
She also started a rental and catering business
It was supposed to be something she did
so as not to sit idle
She made money too
Before long they were accumulating houses
and cars
They had five children1
The first three were girls while the last
two were boys
By the time she was thirty-five, she was
done having babies
They had a paradise of a home
He loved her with all his heart
She was simply devoted to him
But wealth came with its unique pressure
He was seen by many ladies as the
answer to their problems
He was generous and compassionate
But for some ladies, that was not enough
They do not want handouts
They wanted to be in the strong room
She couldn't tell how things fell apart
Her husband changed
He stopped coming home
Suddenly there were business opportunities
in Abuja and port-Harcourt
Both of them knew it wasn't the businesses
that made them rich
They were money magnets
The businesses were excuses at best
But her husband kept pushing boundaries
He opened offices in the United Kingdom,
Turkey, Malaysia and Belgium
He insisted he wanted to get into the textile
business and ceramics industry
It was as if the simple life they had
was boring to him
She knew he was going on these trips
with ladies
He didn't dare misbehave around her
But he was sleeping around and she
knew it
Anytime she raised the issue
He would accuse her of being insecure,
jealous and trying to tie her down
Sometimes they would get into deep
arguments and he would accuse of her
of being diabolic and having a diabolic
mother
Such accusations hurt her deeply
It was true that they did what they did
But it was to both their benefits
Why was he turning the table and playing
victim
Just because he needed an excuse to
do rubbish with other women
But his head was long gone
He was thinking with something else
She tried to be patient
Her mother assured her he would
always come back home to her
And she believed
Then she heard he had married another
woman and even impregnated her
She was told the woman was kept in
their London apartment
It hurt her terribly
She decided to cut her husband's wings
He had the freedom to live responsibly
He chose to live like a wild dog
She consulted with the elders
Her husband suddenly had a stroke
He was treated at hospitals for months
Eventually he was released to her
She kept him at home and made sure
he had the best care
He left her with no option
The condition was for her not to
leave him
It was either she left and they both
became poor or she benches him
Benching him seemed to her the best
option
His people tried very hard to be of
assistance
They got pastors and spiritualists
They got prayer warriors and concoctions
She was always supportive and available
Nobody suspected a thing
After one year of inactivity, the rent in
their London apartment expired and
the occupant was ejected
She tracked the side chick down and
paid her off
She collected the baby boy and
adopted him
All she wanted to do was teach her
husband a lesson for a period of time
She wanted them to remain faithful to
each other nurture their children as one
She didn't know why her husband was
suddenly behaving the way he did
She talked to him often as he laid
on the bed in his affliction
She told him God might give him a
second chance and that he should
not misuse it like he did the first time
He heard her clearly even though
the affliction had denied him the
ability to speak
SHe even promised him that she
would give him the antedote on his 
forty fifth birthday
That would have made him sick for
two years and twenty-one days
He was agerly looking forward to the
date
He had learnt his lesson
He was angry at first but she had a 
point and he got it
She was faithful and responsible
All the children were doing well
He was the only one straying from 
the goal
Two days to his forty-fifth birthday
she died
It was beyond dramatic
She finished her business for the day,
tucked the children in bed,  came to
his room to make sure he was comfortable
and went to bed
The next morning, he was awakened by
all sorts of strange noise from her room
he children were dressed for school
They knocked on her door and all
Eventually, they opened her door
She was sprawled on the floor
Halfway between the bathroom and 
her bedroom
She must have slipped and knocked
her head against the bath tub in the
night
She didn't die immediately, 
She crawled from the bathroom towards 
her room room and died very close
to her bed
It was terrible
He was a vegetable and she was dead
He knew there was a cure
He knew his condition was diabolically
induced
But he couldn't tell anybody
His family members came around and
so did hers
They started picking and packing stuff
cars, clothes, jewelleries, money etc
Nobody thought about their children
Nobody thought about him
He saw everything
The heart of man was mad!
One of his wife's Christian friends invited
the Brother in Jeans and T-Shirt to his 
house to pray for him
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt told him
he had been bound in an illusion
The Word of God builds faith in the mind
of the afflicted
The Power of the Holy Spirit quickens
the faith that has been built turning
potential energy into Kinetic energy
If there is a belief and a will
The sick will be healed!
The Brother in jeans and T-shirt asked
him if he understood
He nodded
The brother in Jeans and T-shirt prayed
in the Holy Ghost for some time
Then he touched him on the waist
and told him to get out of the bed
He felt the warmth spread from his
waist all over his body
His toes and fingers started to wriggle
involuntarily
He pushed himself out of the bed
and began to walk
He didn't feel any pain, just some
weakness in his joint
The more he walked, the more his joints
and limbs were strengthened
After about an hour, he sat with the
Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
He told him the whole story
The Brother in jeans and T-shirt
told him about the Lord Jesus and
the power of the Holy Spirit
They prayed together
He gave his life to Christ and received
the baptism of the Holy Spirit
His wife was buried on a Thursday
at an orthodox church close to their
house
He sold some of their properties
especially the ones in Abuja and Lagos
He also closed down the businesses
in Europe
He relocated with his children to America
None of the members of both families
could look him in the eyes during
the burial
The said and did a lot of things
that he couldn't repeat without
crying
He ensured that his children all gave their
lives to Christ before they left
Especially his first daughter
He was especially concerned about her
But the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
assured him that no matter what
the supposed origin of any human being
was
As soon as such gave his or her life to
Christ, such would become a new creature
A Christkind with a special DNA called ZOE
Old things would pass away and all things
would become new
Hallelujah!

PS: Whatever you might have gotten
involved in before today
Wherever you might have gone in this
realm or another
If you are still alive, you have the right
to this new life in Christ
All you have to do is turn to Jesus anywhere
you are and say this out lord
I Confess To You God That I Am A Sinner, 
And Repent Of My Sins. I Believe That Jesus 
Christ Died, Was Buried, And Rose Again For Me, 
That I Might Have Life And Have It More 
Abundantly. I Accept Jesus Christ Into 
My Life Today As My Lord And Savior.
I accept the Holy Spirit
and subject my inner man to Him!
I live "the life" from Above from today
by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Amen
