At a book fair
She was an avid reader 
He was early for an appointment 
and decided to while away some 
time at the fair 
Somehow their paths crossed

The flowed easily as if they had known

When he was done 
She had a shopping basket full of books 
He walked with her to the cashier's stand 
and insisted he would pay It became 
an issue 
She insisted he couldn't pay 
He was hurt by her strong stance 
He let it go

Their conversation somehow stopped

But they looked like twins

She received a call to come to a certain room 
for a meeting

She dressed very impressively
The first impression is everything 
She got to the room 
He was the one waiting for her

He didn't press the issue 
He said he only wanted to spend some 
time with her away from Nigeria 
He had missed their intellectual 
engagement He told her the brand

He told her how much the contract

already briefed her aunty about it 
Her aunty loved the idea 
She didn't know what to say 
All he wanted was to spend time with her

They discussed at length

They had sex at every convenient time after then

 Nine months came labour refused 
to come
Somebody told her mother if she had a CS 
she would die 
Her mother didn't want to lose her 
Someone told her father she had been 
enchanted! 
She was always having evil dreams and 
nightmares 
She just wanted to die and be gone 
Nobody knew what to do 
They prayed, fasted and consulted spiritualists
Nothing changed 
She saw some testimonies on twitter

She sent him a DM 
She said "I am at the Hospital, nobody 
knows what to do with me! 
Can you help?"

He went to see her 
She told him the whole truth 
She said they had begged her aunty 
Her aunt's husband had withdrawn

delivered! 
The phone call woke me up 
I had been unable to sleep since then 
The Spirit of Jesus does not care 
what the wrong was or who the 
sinner was 
He came to set the captive free! 
The family will find a way to resolve 
their mess
One thing is certain 
God will preserve this lady and her baby
