The Advantage

She caught her husband cheating 
It was the most devastating thing 
she had ever experienced in her life 
It wasn't as if she was so naive; 
that she didn't think a partner could 
cheat 
She was a product of a marriage in 
which unfaithfulness was a bitter reality 
Her mother was the unfaithful one 
Jumping from bed to bed like a rabid frog

divorce her mother as he ought to have done 
He was a believer who believed in the no

It really affected the children! 
Seeing their mother take advantage of their 
father's foolishness! 
Her sisters too started sleeping around 
quite early 
They just took their mother's cue 
Their father was stern on her sisters 
But prompted along by their mother 
Their father found himself in the midst 
of a battle, he couldn't win! 
She was the fourth girl 
Her mother had four girls and three boys 
She decided by herself to follow a 
different path 
She didn't want her life to be ruined 
because of her mother's bad influence 
Unlike her elder sisters she was the only 
one that got married
She made sure she got married as a virgin 
She chose her husband carefully 
He was a meticulous and faithful man 
Devoted and very committed 
They were best friends 
Practically breathing the same air and 
thinking the same way

She wished she didn't see what she saw

They went for a holiday in Canada 
Their family friend took some pictures

The friend forwarded the pictures to her
husband's phone 
That was what she was looking for in

And her light dimmed!

It was too sudden and too shocking 
She practically developed hypertension

Her husband had always put her first

One Sunday morning, while preparing 
for church service

Her husband was close by and broke her fall

She was rushed to the hospital 
The doctors helped her 
When she regained consciousness 
She saw her family
Her husband was looking worried 
The doctor told him she was worried

Her blood pressure was through the roof

He picked his car keys and left! 
He just walked out
He didn't return home 
A day, a month, a year... 
She knew he was with the other woman 
She knew he was alive and well 
He refused to pick her calls or even 
visit his children at home 
He saw them at their schools 
They met at some places, he treated her 
like she was a total stranger
She cried out 
Pastors and family members waded into 
the issue 
Her husband was lost 
She went to beg him 
She wanted him back 
Even though he was the one that offended her 
It was as if the sight of her infuriated him 
the more

He hated her!
Family members told her he speaks kindly

He listened to them and paid attention

violent 
Trying to throw everybody out of his house

It was terrible!
The lady he was cohabiting with had delivered 
a set of twins for him 
She was at least twenty years older than 
the lady 
Everybody told her it was diabolical 
The lady had turned her back to her husband 
All the signs showed that they were right 
But nobody knew how to undo the evil
She went to many churches 
She wanted her husband back 
It is unfair that a lady would take him 
away from her just like that 
The best solution she got was from a spiritualist 
who said the charm expires every four years 
and if they started working on it they could 
turn her husband's
Heart back within a short window of time! 
She agreed and paid 
The spiritualist disappeared a few months later 
She was told he relocated to Canada! 
She found herself back to square one!

They held hands and prayed in tongues 
for about an hour! When she got home, 
she slept all night like a baby 
It was the first time she slept without a 
panic attack in years 
It was liberating! 
Two days later, on Christmas day of 2019 
Her husband called her for the first time 
in almost three years to wish her a merry 
Christmas! 
He told her he wanted to come home and 
see his children 
She called the brother in Jeans and T-shirt 
He told her what to do! 
Her husband arrived at 10 AM It was
Awkward at first 
But her children quickly got the message 
when they saw her hugging and acting 
like an infatuated teenager with him 
Around noon, she pulled him into their room 
They needed to become one! 
That was it! 
The brother in Jeans and t-shirt told her
 to use protection but to close her eyes 
and be a circle around her husband 
Her husband stayed 
On January 2nd 2019, the other lady came 
to their house and dropped the set of twins 
with the security man and walked away 
She didn't drop any message or call them 
on phone 
The deliverance was complete!
