The Surge

Nobody was supposed to be in the office that day
There was a special programme at their international headquarters
He was determined to be at that programme
But then he got a call from an anonymous number
"Sir, please, I want to see you, it is an emergency"
He told the person the emergency will have to wait
He was already preparing to head to the programme
The man begged and pleaded
He told the man the emergency would have to wait till another time
Five minutes after dropping the call, his phone rang again
It was one of the security men at his office
The security man said an elderly man was waiting for him at the office
The elderly man had a very sick young man with him
It was a matter of life and death!
He wasn't being callous when he told them to come back at another time
He had to stick to his plan for the day, otherwise, he would end up drifting here and there throughout the day
The security men seemed very troubled
They had been tasked with a very sensitive assignment
They cannot turn people away under any circumstances
The people are more important than process and procedure 
He told the security men he was on his way
He would have to branch at the office on his way to the meeting 
When he got to the office he walked briskly to their vehicle
"I am so and so" He said "How can I help you?"
The elderly man fell on his face immediately
"Sir, have mercy on me and my son, forgive us sir"
He was shocked, how could a man old enough to be his father prostrate and plead like that? 
God is not a tyrant and he has given none of  his children the right to Lord anything over the flock of His pasture"
He pulled the elderly man to his feet, 
"Sir, please dont prostrate for me, I am just a man like you, 
I am on my way to a meeting and only branched because the security guards persuaded me,
how can I be of assistance to you?
The elderly man pointed at his car and said "My only surviving son is in that car, he is 33 years old,
he had suddenly been struck by a strange ailment, 
I have taken him everywhere but there seemed to be no solution!
His tummy suddenly started swelling up, this started about one year ago,
 we had done all sorts of tests, CT-scan, X-ray, colonoscopy and so on
The doctors kept saying he is fine!
"Sir, my son is not fine, please come and take a look at him"
He followed the elderly man to his car
As soon as the elderly man opened the car door, he saw what the man meant 
The young man in the car was totally emaciated 
His head was all bones and sunken eyes
His arms and legs were very thin and frail
His stomach was abnormally big and he could barely breathe
He turned around and looked at the elderly man
What happened to your son?
The elderly man looked down and shook his head, he looked up and said
"I am not a Christian, I was brought up to see Christians as blasphemers,
liars, enemies of God and pretenders. I brought my children up the same way,
to fear God and destroy every enemy of God. I think my children took this to heart
and literally engaged in certain things that I am not proud of!
The elderly man rested his back against his car, "Pastor, what can you do to help us?"
He looked at the elderly man, torn by pain and sorrow and yet being only half truthful,
what was the man going to say that he had not heard before?
He said: Baba (Elderly man) I have seen the effect of the curse several times and in many ways, 
your son is under a self inflicted curse! If you tell the truth or encourage him to tell the truth,
he will be set free in the next few minutes.
The elderly man paused for a while, he said, "Do you know I have lost four sons! Four in the last one year!
My household has been under a siege! This is more likely to be the handiwork of my enemies than any curse!
This is a diabolic stone thrown against my household by my enemies!
Your God cannot be this powerful
This cannot be the handiwork of God!
The elderly man smiled and walked to the car.
He watched the man curiously
It was like the battle between the Ark of Covenant and Dagon in 1 Samuel 5
The Philistines kept doubting where the affliction was coming from
To them the Ark of Covenant and Dagon were equals
By the time they would admit that Dagon was a thing while the Ark was a person
They had been tormented beyond imagination
Just as the elderly man started the engine of his car
His son screamed in a haunting manner!
The man jumped down from the car
He ran back to the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
Sir, my son, my son says he wants to talk to you!
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt said they should bring the son into the office
Although he was in a hurry, he knew the issue at hand needed some serious attention
The security men helped the son to the conference room
The son: Sir, help me! I and my brothers did a lot of evil things
We targeted pastors and their families
Especially the prominent ones
We robbed them, beat them, maim them and sometimes raped their wives and daughters
On one or two occasions some of our victims died
We thought we were making a mockery of their God
Why didn't their God or their anointing save them?
We did this until last year
We went to a popular pastor's house
We knew he was in the house
We got into his compound around 9pm
We checked every room
We found his wife, his daughter and his two sons
But we couldn't find him
We took every valuable thing we could in his house 
and we raped his wife and his daughter
We left with one of his cars, a Prado Jeep
My siblings took the jeep to the "slab" immediately
(The slab was where stolen vehicles are sold for cheap. 
Sometimes such vehicles were disassembled and sold as spare parts)
I drove our own car, a Nissan Almera
On the way back home my four brothers died in a terrible car crash
That was when I started feeling sick in my arms, shoulders, waist, neck until it got to this stage
Please sir, help me, I am suffering!
I wanted to die but death has refused to come
I cannot go on living like this sir
Please, beg God on my behalf
Please sir!"
Brother in Jeans and T-shirt: Do you know the pastor whose house you went to before all these happened?
Elderly man: We have been to his house, we were told he and his family had since relocated
to New Jersey in America, we have sent mails, even tried to call but it was all to no avail
Son: Sir, can you help me, please?
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt: The only way you can come out of this curse is to give your life to Jesus
The Bible says "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse unto us" Gal 3:13
Elderly man: There is no other way? My son has to deny his faith and embrace yours? 
It is a curse for a son to leave his Father's religion in our own beliefs!
Brother in Jeans and T-shirt: You can leave sir, I have a lot of things to do.
Son: Sir, I am willing sir, I will give my life to Jesus. I will do anything to be free of this curse.
Brother in Jeans and T-shirt lays hands on the son and said "Say after me, Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Please forgive me. 
Come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Now, help me to live for you the rest of this life.
In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
That was it!
The elderly man started shivering and shouting
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt started praying in tongues
The son started moaning and swaying in his seat
It lasted for almost fifteen minutes
The elderly man fell on his knees and shouted: I want to be saved too!
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt laid hands on him too, he confessed Christ and fell under the anointing
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt turned to the son and said, "Now stand up and walk"
The boys legs wobbled as he tried, one of the security guards wanted to assist him but as soon as he touched the son, 
he fell under the anointing too
The son started walking! Slowly at first and then as his limbs gained strength he walked faster
When the elderly man opened his eyes, he saw his son walking and he began to speak in tongues
Everything happened at the same time
The Elderly man cried for a long time (Only he can explain what was going through his mind)
He kept shouting: Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!
The Son was crying and laughing at the same time
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt was on his knees glorifying God
The security man that fell under the anointing woke up praying in tongues
The Holy Spirit is very much in His church
If He is not real to you yet
Start seeking him sincerely and earnestly
You will find him!
What a wonderful father He is
Compassionate and forgiving!
Healing, delivering and restoring!
Our God is indeed a loving God!
God loves me so much!

PS: The whole incident lasted from 8:37 AM to 11:55AM

The consequence of hate is self-destruction
There is no legal reason to steal, kill and destroy unless you are a child of the devil
If God be God, let Him defend himself
If you give his servants a cup of water, there is a reward
If you hurt, kill and maim his servants, there is a reward
No matter how evil what you have done was, if you come to Jesus today, He will save you!
