Collateral Damage

Collateral Damage

Her affliction started suddenly in 2004
She was nineteen years old at the time
She was studying Mass Communication
at the Polytechnic Ibadan, Eruwa Campus
She was a virgin (In the flesh)
Apart from not engaging in physical
intimacy as at that time
She knew all about sex
She had seen x-rated movies several times
and came close to surrendering her virginity
on numerous occasions
It was the pain that made her give up on
the whole process the last time she tried
The guy asked her out just for
the fun of it
They both knew there was no future
in the relationship
But she had a lot of idle time and she
needed to try it out
Do what others are doing and gain some
experience
So she agreed to date him
And he started asking her to come to
his house whenever the place was
deserted
She went and they tried
It was too much pain and she gave
upon it
That was how she was still a "virgin"
when she was hauled off to school
Her father was a pastor in a white
garment church
He used to be a civil servant
A prophet told him he has been called
to be a shepherd in their church
He protested
He was a casual church member
who attended church because his
late mother made him promise to
do so every Sunday!
He never wanted to be a pastor
His refusal sparked a chain reaction
He lost his job and the family was
plunged into debt
After exhausting every means to come
out of the hole
He was told he will lose his life if he
continued to resist the call
So he caved in and enrolled himself
in the seminary of the church
Miraculously, his obedience turned
things around
After completing his seminary education
he was posted to Paraga, somewhere in
Ondo State
His wife and five children, (four daughters
and one son) were left behind in Ibadan
He had become a staff of the church
It was a sacrifice the whole family
had to bear
Her mother, also a civil servant at the
time was not fooled by the pastor's
collar
She knew her husband very well
He had a strong skirt-chasing weakness
She often told her children that if
their father brought home a second wife,
she would just leave all of them and
move on with her life
Her father had many extra-marital affairs
while they were all living together as
a family
Her mother knew the distance would
only make it worse
The month her father was posted to his
base in Paraga
She gained admission into the Polytechnic
That fateful night, she was fast asleep
when she saw a fiery red hot substance
hit her in the chest
She screamed in pain
The entire neighbourhood rushed to her
room
They found her screaming and crying
Nobody knew what to do
She had been afflicted in her dream
They took her to the hospital
The doctors checked her
She was fine
Nobody knew why she was in pain
Somebody called her father
Her father said they should take her
home to her mother in Ibadan
When she got home, she was taken
straight to church
Prophets prayed and saw visions
She was given all sorts and the pains
eased
Her healing took seven days
She returned to school and discovered
to her shock that she had suddenly
developed a craving for sex
It was like a soft fire in her belly and
a constant voice in her head
Whenever she was around guys, her
body would start reacting weirdly
Within a week, she had lost her virginity
to her next door neighbour
It was like opening pandora's box
Within a month she had slept with
nine guys
She couldn't help it
Whenever the feeling came upon her
she simply couldn't control herself
Within a year she had slept with so
many guys, it had become a thing
of shame
She even slept with her younger sister's
boyfriend and some cousins
She just couldn't stop
Whenever there was nobody around for
her to sleep with
She would take a candlestick or sometimes
a stick, wrap a nylon around it and use
it on herself
Sometimes she would masturbate
in public, at social events and even in the
church, oblivious of her environment,
trying to quench the fire in between her
legs!
She was regarded as a mental case
People will say "It has come upon her
again"
She finished her OND and proceeded to
the University through Direct Entry
The problem persisted
His father prayed, many prophets prayed
Prayers failed
She began to see a psychiatrist
She was given some drugs and she started
managing the problem better
In 2015, at the age of thirty, she attempted
suicide for the first time
She didn't know how she survived
She was alone in the room
She drank rat poison
She was in pain for hours
She lost consciousness only to wake
up in the middle of the night
All her younger ones had meaningful
lives and were in relationships
She sometimes stands by the roadside
in the evening to get picked up by
men looking for a prostitute to be with
for the night
She was one of those girls guys keep
on their phone for a quick romp and
a painless dismissal
Her mother brought her to the office of
the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt in 2018
She had just attempted suicide for the
second time
Somebody at the hospital gave her mother
the phone number of the brother in Jeans
and T-shirt
He met with them on a Monday morning
She told her story
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt listened
After all the talk
They started to pray
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt held her
hands and they began to pray
Her mother, who had been a spectator
all the while started screaming in agony
Wow!
Something crazy was going on
Her mother was on the floor, rolling
and screaming
The brother in Jeans and T-shirt
lai hands on the mother
"Peace, be still in Jesus name!" He
commanded
Her mother went limp
After a while, her mother opened
her eyes and started to cry
She said "I was the cause of this
affliction!
I brought this on my daughter!
When my husband was posted to Paraga,
to work there as a pastor, there was this
prophetess that was also placed in the
church with him
She was a single mother and an indigene
of that village
When i went to visit my husband
About three months after he resumed
duty, i perceived that my husband was
sleeping with this prophetess
I sensed this by her attitude and familiarity
with my husband
I didn't say anything
I spent two weeks with my husband and
returned home
The following Sunday, while I was in church
a prophetess approached me and told me
someone had taken my hair and was
determined to afflict me with madness!
The prophetess asked me who I was
dragging something important with.
I said "Nobody"
The prophetess then gave me the items
i have to buy for spiritual work!
I bought the items and I was prayed for
But I couldn't get the prophecy out of my
head!
Somebody was out to get me
Someone i was dragging something with
I was sure it was that prophetess
She had to be the one
So I went to my village and reported her
to some elderly people
They told me they would afflict her with
a special kind of madness that would keep
her in between sanity and insanity
They would teach her a lesson in closing
her legs to married men
I gave them her name
They did it and it worked!
My husband left Paraga about a month
after the lady went crazy
I thought I had won
I didn't know it could somehow be reversed
so that it jumped on my daughter!
All these years I have prayed and cried
I went to the village several times
They did all the rituals but my daughter
was still afflicted
The man who did it for me has stopped
picking my calls for a long time
Nobody knew how my daughter came to
be afflicted by this malady
When you started to pray with her
I felt a wind blowing in my ears
It just kept carrying me and throwing
me off balance
Please help me!"
The Brother in jeans and T-shirt prayed
with both the mother and the daughter
They got filled with the Holy Ghost
They were set free!

Ps: In May 2019, the lady got married
in Kaduna
The Holy Spirit restored her fully
The sexual affliction was gone and
her body healed totally

GSW's note: What sort of love deserves
your alliance with the devil?
What sort of home would you build
in alliance with demons
There is something called collateral
damage
It wouldn't make your sacrifice worth
it in the long run
If your husband or wife is cheating
You can try many things to make it
work
The one thing you must avoid is engaging
demons in any way!
It will cost you so much more than the
pains of a broken home
