Called

His first marriage was a monumental 
mistake 
He married the very first babe he felt 
something for He was an early success 
The kind of guy that made his first million 
as a teenager 
He was a chartered accountant at the age 
of 18 
He was handsome and he was full of the 
Holy Spirit
He was raised in a home where the 
supernatural was the norm 
His father was a prophet 
His mother was a pastor 
The voice of the Lord came early to him 
He was the kind of guy who wasn’t 
permitted to say just anything out of
anger 
When he speaks, everything obeys 
That was his life
He was once in a vehicle with some of 
his brothers 
Another vehicle drove into them 
A police officer arrived and wanted to 
pervert justice 
In his anger he declared that the car 
that ran into them will not leave that spot 
Minutes later the car caught fire 
Everybody’s eyes popped!
When their father came to bail them at 
the police station 
The officers were still trying to figure out 
how to make a case against him and his 
brothers 
Of course, they heard him say the car 
wouldn’t leave in one piece 
But he was still standing with them 
when the car caught fire
It was a complex puzzle 
They had to release them 
There was no car, there was no evidence 
of wrong and therefore there was no case 
Even his father acknowledged that the 
Holy Spirit has blessed him with a rare gift 
Then he met this babe 
He was young and inexperienced 
He felt he was ready 
His mother told him to take some time, 
think his decisions through 
He had everything a successful young man 
was supposed to have in life 
He had been working since the age of fourteen 
His life was set on a course of success 
He knew what he was doing 
He had always gotten it right
In their fellowship at the time, many spiritual 
brothers got it wrong 
He was determined not to be one of such 
He told himself it was impossible for him 
to miss it 
All a woman needed was true love, comfort, 
a responsible and faithful man and a provider! 
He was overqualified!
They got married 
His wife got pregnant soon after the wedding 
and delivered a set of twin boys 
She woke him up one morning and said 
“I don’t want to be married again! 
Marriage just isn’t my thing. 
I want to leave this marriage without a fight 
and I want to keep my children!”
It was as if the earth should open and 
swallow him up 
The marriage wasn’t even three years old 
He begged her “What did I do wrong?” 
“What can I do better?” 
“I love you, babe, please don’t leave me” 
Nothing worked 
They got their parents involved, after 
much back and forth, she left
He was devastated! 
He had always known he would pastor
a church! 
The gift and the calling of God upon 
his life was evident for all to see 
How would he fulfill that mandate with
the blemish of divorce on his life? 
He contacted his Christian brothers 
They prayed! 
They fasted! 
All they wanted was a miraculous encounter
of the Holy Spirit with his ex-wife 
It didn’t happen! 
He cried and plunged himself into his job 
The Lord blessed him 
The power of the Holy Spirit was upon him 
like the dew of the morning 
It took him another six years 
#He found his Mrs. Right
She was a youth corps member who came 
to serve in the company he was working with 
Immediately he saw her, he knew she was 
his wife! 
She was a rare beauty and she had a heart 
of gold 
He presented his case and asked her to 
take him on the merit of his word 
She trusted to hope It worked!
They got married and God blesses them 
with wonderful children 
Finally, he was a fulfilled man 
Suddenly his ship hit an iceberg, then another 
and another 
What was he getting wrong 
What was missing in his life 
Why was he feeling void and empty 
He sought help in many places
Nothing worked 
He was even asked to travel abroad to meet 
some specialists who might be of help to him 
He came across the Brother in Jeans and 
T-shirt on Twitter 
They met and talked 
The Holy Spirit said “This is my vessel, my voice, 
my workmanship, nothing will satisfy him but me"
He said “I thought he was done with me 
because of the marital blemish I had, 
I didn’t know his calling and love endures 
even when I have stumbled and missed my way” 
They prayed together 
The anointing surged 
The Holy Spirit revived a comatose vision 
Joy flooded his heart again
