CHEZEV: Visions Of The Head
It is not unusual for a Christian or even an unbeliever to feed information or a statement of problem into his mind or his head, go to bed and sleep over it and then in the middle of the night see a vision or have a "dream" about the same information or vision and wake up with a unique thought or a solution or a decision about the problem he or she went to bed with the previous night.
For example, a King in the Bible called Nebuchadnezzer had a huge palace where he met with his chieftains and vassals daily
When he meets with these people, they discuss strategies regarding rulership, administration, and internal issues affecting his kingdom, as well as external issues like warfare, diplomacy, information from his network of spies relating to moves being made by his rivals, and so on
Some of these discussions lead to immediate resolutions, while some will end up being pended while the king mulls over what to do about them.
It is no wonder kings end up having dreams relating to their kingdoms, which inevitably guide them on what steps to take and what steps not to take when they wake up from their slumber
Pharaoh had the same experience when he dreamt about the lean cows swallowing the fat cows and the thin ears of corn swallowing the fat ears of corn.
In the typical fashion of dreams, what was seen was an imagery that could almost be easily discarded or abandoned by the seer, but the emotions that come with such visions are so profound that when the seer wakes up, he or she knows an action has to be taken on the matter due to the level of distress felt by his or her soul.
In simpler terms, a man may meet a lady, like her and begin to talk to her. he might even begin to contemplate marrying her.
Then he goes to bed and sleeps
While sleeping, he sees a dog eating a bone, and out of nowhere tiger appears and begins to chase the dog until the dog drops the bone and hides in a house.
He wakes up sweating and scared
He feels as if he was the dog and the tiger would have killed him if not for the bone he dropped and the safe place he found where he hid his head
Naturally, it would have been a dream he would dismiss because it looks like a scene from Tom and Jerry but due to the deep feelings of danger and escape it had on him, he wouldn't dismiss it.
He would somehow connect it to the lady he met, whom he was thinking about
He wakes up and sends her a message
"Are you in a relationship you didn't tell me about? Are you married? Are you in a situationship? Are you hiding anything from me that I ought to know about?"
The lady sees his message and most likely will reply, "Yes, I am married, but I am now separated, or my husband is abroad, or I have a man who wanted to marry me and is obsessed with me, or something in that manner.
The man then tactically withdraws from his pursuit of this lady.
If the lady asks him a million times what she did wrong or why his interest began to wane, he would not be able to offer a logical explanation.
He just knows that pursuing her will expose him to danger.
That is the Chezev Vision.
Another example, a man got an invitation from an old friend to attend a party in another state.
He and the old friend had not seen each other in over fifteen years
He received the news with excitement, bought his flight ticket, packed his bag, and was prepared to embark on the journey the next morning.
Then he slept, and he saw himself at a loan shark's office
He was asking for a loan, and the loan shark asked him to provide his collateral
After the discussion, the loan shark told him how much he was willing to give him for the collateral provided, and he got excited about the funds
He got home, and the debt collectors working for the loan shark showed up at his house out of the blue, broke down his door, and began to cart away his property.
He stopped them and told them he had not collected the loan, and they had no right to take away his properties.
They dropped his properties and said, "If you take the loan, this is what will happen to you and your properties."
He woke up deeply shaken by the vision and immediately decided not to travel to the party anymore.
You can ask yourself what this dream or vision had to do with the party. On the surface, the two will appear unrelated, but somewhere, deep in the heart of the dreamer, he knows that the dream was a warning for him not to attend the party or continue the friendship in any form.
In the book of Daniel, from chapters 2 to 7, we see the Chezev vision in many forms.
This does not mean every dream has a meaning or that people should regard dreams as nothing more than a reflection of human reality through a mirror of the subconscious.
A Chezev vision or a vision of the head is not just any dream or vision. It is a premonition or the awakening of the soul to possible consequences that will come with certain action, especially when such an action could lead to deep consequences that might affect the future or destiny of the individual.
Chezev is not a spiritual insight or a reflection of someone's spirituality. In some cultures, it is referred to as "the sixth sense or an intense feeling of discomfort or impending danger."
People usually have this vision, dream, or sight when they are worried about something, mulling over something, excited about something, or about to take a crucial decision, or even when they are failing to take a crucial decision which may affect their lives and destiny.
A man won a visa lottery and began the process of gathering funds by selling off all his properties in a bid to travel abroad.
He slept and saw himself walking on a farm until he came upon an abandoned anthill. In the vision, he was very disturbed because the anthill was full of activity just a few days before when he saw it, but now it was just a lifeless shell.
He woke up in tears.
The next day, he resumed work at his place of business and announced to everyone he would not be traveling again.
People were shocked
He said he just knew he would have lost everything by the time he returned from his journey.
Remember that in the scriptures, the vision is accompanied by an intense emotional engagement that troubled the individual.
In the Book of Esther, it said "The King could not sleep all night", the Book of Daniel, it said the King was troubled. In the book of Genesis, it was said, "Pharaoh had a dream which troubled him."
Not every dream troubles the soul
A Chezev is not about what was seen per se; it was more about the intense emotions and a strong warning signal that cannot be easily shaken off by the one who has it.
Finally, a Chezev is a soulful dream or vision. It is not an indication of being spiritual or claiming "God talks to me through dreams" as many do today.
PS: If this class is well-received with likes and reposts to my satisfaction, I will teach about Chazon (Visions of the Spirit) as seen in Daniel 8 and 9, and Marah Vision as seen in Daniel 10.
PSSBC School 27 students, discuss this in class and share various experiences on your WhatsApp group relating to the Chezev vision and your personal experiences.
Almost everyone would have experienced this dream or vision either before they became born again or after.
The late Nabeel Qureshi; had a Chezev vision that led him to Christ while he was a muslim.
