Domino Effect

The day his wife confirmed that she was pregnant
She was at a news conference somewhere in Ikeja, 
Lagos State
It was 10 AM in the morning
Right in the middle of the press briefing with the governor 
Seated in the middle row among over 50 other journalists
She perceived a smell, a perfume and vomited
everything she ate that morning
It was very embarrassing!
She was immediately rushed to the hospital
Doctors carried out their tests
The tests showed that she had malaria, typhoid and 
that she was also six weeks pregnant
Wow!
She had been married for three months and had 
become slightly concerned about not taking in
The news was a delight!
When her husband heard the news, he was overjoyed! 
He was a young pastor
Still growing in the faith
But the mark of the Lord was all over him
They went home to prepare for the child
They worked hard and saved hard
He also prayed very hard
His family and that of his wife had some genetic issues 
he wanted the Holy Spirit to deal with
He didn’t want his child to be born with sinuses 
or any breathing problem
He laid his hands on the pregnancy often, speaking 
into the life of the baby
The pregnancy scans estimated the expected due 
date of the baby to be some time in the middle of 
January 2012
They worked towards the date
Planning, buying stuff and praying 
One Sunday in November, the pregnancy was just
 7months and one week
His wife started feeling very uncomfortable
He went to church, hoping by the time he returned 
home, his wife would be fine
It was not so
By 4 pm he rushed her to the hospital
The nurses checked her and said “she wasn’t in labor”
They wondered what the problem was
The doctor arrived and checked her
He said it was nothing to worry about
The doctor gave her husband a list of drugs to buy
The doctor explained that there was a hormone
 that is deceiving his wife’s system with the information 
that it is time for the delivery of the baby
Once his wife got the needed injection, 
the hormones will settle down and he can then
 take his wife back home
He shot out of the hospital
Went from one pharmaceutical shop to the other
Spent thirty-five thousand Naira on drugs
As he was rushing back to the hospital after 
buying the drugs
The Holy Spirit said, “My angels are positioned, 
the birth cannot be stopped!”
He slammed the brakes!
"What!
No way!
“Wouldn’t it be more prudent to tell me this before I 
spent all this money?
No way!
We are not having a premature baby
I reject it!
No way! No!!!” He screamed on and on in the car
He calmed down after a while and drove on
When he got to the hospital, his wife was calm and asleep
He gave the drugs to the doctor 
The doctor prepared the injection immediately
The doctor told him his wife had been calm 
since he left
They didn't bother giving her any medicine 
The doctor said he was sure the false labour 
episode had passed
But just to be sure, he would examine her again 
and administer the drug only if needed
The doctor checked her
Another series of test was conducted 
The result showed that his wife was experiencing
a minor labour pang, though the intensity was very low
The doctor gave her the injection
Everybody heaved a sigh of relief 
He was happy he rebuked the ”voice” that
spoke to him in the car 
Obviously, it couldn't be the Holy Spirit
Maybe it was his mind playing tricks on him
Then he heard a scream
It was his wife!
Her water broke
The baby was coming!
What!
Five minutes later, by 8:10 pm, he was a father!
The baby was very small but the baby was 
not premature
He was breathing by himself, nursing and doing 
everything normally 
He weighed 2.3 kg
Everybody was shocked!
He was happy it ended in praise 
They were discharged the following day
He had rushed home to get the baby’s things 
the previous night
They returned home with their bundle of joy
It took them a week to notice the challenge the 
baby had with breathing
Then the cough
The baby coughed on and on, day after day!
By the time the baby was a month old they had been 
in and out of the hospital several times
After a barrage of tests
The doctor ruled out heart deformation or 
any heart-related problem
They were told to keep the baby warm and 
observe him critically
By the time the baby was one year old, 
the symptoms became obvious 
The baby was asthmatic! 
He cried when he heard it
His family had sinus issues
His wife’s mother was asthmatic
It was almost natural to expect that they will 
have children who would inherit these
 genetic flaws
But he had prayed about it
Foreseen the possibility and committed it to 
God in prayer
How come God didn't tinker with the genes
He was very disappointed
His medicine cabinet at home was full of
 all sorts of drugs
They kept the house as warm as possible 
without making it humid
The baby was always on sweaters, socks, 
and gloves during the rainy season
As the  baby grew into a toddler and started school
He was forbidden from partaking in sports or any 
activity that requires him to exert his energy
In spite of all the precautions 
The boy was always wheezing and coughing 
If he perceived any balm, asthma got triggered 
He had the dry powder inhaler and the pump inhaler
The doctor told them the baby would have to 
cope with it
Many people are coping with worse
Children are coping with diabetes, a hole in the heart, 
high blood pressure, life-threatening allergies
 and so on.
Asthma was not that bad!
The doctor encouraged them that with the right care
their son will go on and be whatever he wanted to be 
in life
They accepted the verdict and kept on managing it
His younger brother came to his house one day and 
saw all the drugs 
He couldn’t believe it
He said, “You, the brother in Jeans and T-Shirt, 
couldn’t lift a finger of faith over your own household 
but you heal and do miracles in the name of Jesus 
everywhere else!”
This is crazy!
He told his brother he had tried
“I fasted and prayed!
I did everything 
But no matter how much I prayed and fasted
The Asthma wouldn’t go
I laid hands and commanded and decreed
The Asthma remained!
I don’t know how else to go about it!
Do you know that every June, he would be hospitalized 
for at least a week
The doctors usually make use of a nebulizer 
to stabilize him
I usually stay with him in the hospital
I have been advised by the doctor to buy my own 
nebulizer and keep it at home for him
The doctor told me she had one at home for 
her own child
There was no two way about it 
That is what I am dealing with here” He explained
His brother couldn’t believe it
His brother called the boy and laid hands on him 
commanding the spirit of Asthma to leave him
Three days later the wheezing and coughing 
started again!
He was rushed to the hospital and he spent a 
week on admission!
When they returned home from the hospital, 
the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt asked the Holy Spirit, 
"Please sir, what do I do to get rid of this thing?"
The Holy Spirit didn't respond that day
Three days later, the Holy Spirit said ”Create a platform 
for me on social media, I want to bring healing and 
joy to my children”
It was a weird request
Starting a prayer platform is possible if you already 
have a group in church like the choir or prayer 
department and then create a platform!
But to create a platform and expect people to just join?
Strangers who didn't really know you?
It was weird
But it is better to obey and flunk than not to obey 
for fear of flunking!
The Brother in Jeans and T-Shirt launched 
the GSW platform for intercession on Whatsapp!
People joined 
Prayers and ministrations were offered daily
The daily prayer started
Other children of God came to the platform
Every night by 8:45 pm they worshipped, prayed 
and spoke forth the mind of God
Soon the Whatsapp group was filled to capacity 
The group moved to Telegram 
Testimonies started pouring like rain
On March 4, a brother named Eyitayo,
Sent the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt this message

”Good Evening sir.
Eku ataaro.

As I prayed a few minutes ago, I saw a little boy with what 
looks a heart condition or a problem around his chest 
, maybe pain and I saw him been attended to by 2 tall 
beings in white. One laid his right hand on that 
chest area.

There is healing for that little boy”

Wow!

The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt ran to his son’s room 
and found him sleeping under the fan without his 
sweaters on!
He placed his ear on his son’s heart, there was 
no wheezing!
The next day he watched the boy playing normally!
One month! Two months!! No wheezing, not even a little! 
No shortness of breath! No gasping for breathe 
No inhaler! 
No nebulizer! No hospital!
He kept quiet waited for the month of June! 
That was usually the worst month!
The cold weather came, the boy sneezed! 
The boy coughed but it was the usual nothing extraordinary! 
They took him to the doctor to be sure
The doctor said, “There was no attack, he was fine!”
That was the first year the boy would not be admitted 
for at least three days in a year!
After then they stopped buying all the drugs! 
No inhaler, no antibiotics, no syrups!
Another year flew by!
The boy won a silver medal in 100 meters race in school
He could run, play football, ride his bicycle, swim
like every other child
On the 19th of June 2019, 
The brother in Jeans and T-Shirt met his son's
doctor at the ATM machine
The doctor greeting him and asked if they
had moved to another hospital because she 
had not seen them in a long time
The brother in Jeans and T-shirt smiled! 
He told the doctor his son was no longer Asthmatic
and had been in good health for two years!
The doctor was shocked!
"What happened? How did you do it? What did you do?
Asked the doctor
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt told her
it was through divine intervention!
He agreed with her in prayer that God will
visit her own child too and break the yoke
of Asthma off his neck!

PS: I Write this as I ponder in my mind how yielding to 
the Holy Spirit benefits all those who are around us!
We might be praying and fasting over something 
while walking in disobedience

Obedience to God has a domino effect
The moment we obey God, things shift and 
everyone around us benefits
If you are. Born Again Christian, Born from Above 
and you are struggling with certain issues like I did, 
I will like you to please consult with the Holy Spirit!
Ask him questions and don't throw away his instructions
 if it doesn't seem to match what you we're asking 
The fruits of obedience are many and sometimes 
they are not so obvious!

I am praying for all our children! 
Especially those dealing with health issues at the moment! 
The angels of the Lord shall visit your children and set 
them free from these afflictions in Jesus name!

my brother in Christ who I met on Twitter and saw Zion! 
He came to my office one morning brimming with the 
anointing of the Holy Spirit!
