They started having issues immediately she 
started making money
It wasn't as if he wasn't doing well
As at the time she met him, he was very 
comfortable
She was a prostitute, the corporate type
She catered to certain types of clients
The rich, influential, neat and needy ones
She avoided dirty money like a plague
She was not desperate for the money
She had a day job as a front desk officer for 
an oil servicing company
The pay from her work was adequate to 
meet her needs
But she needed extra-cash and found a healthy 
way to make it
Most of the expatriates working for the 
oil companies they deal with
showed interest in short, personal but not 
too intimate relationships!
Some of them would tip her heavily to get 
them company for the night
But for security purposes, the girls couldn't 
be the usual street prostitutes
That was how she became a Madame of sorts
She started by using the street prostitutes, 
she paid them well
and made sure they dressed properly to show 
some dignity
But street prostitutes are like rabid dogs!
They are quick-tempered, violent and lacked 
the mental capacity to respond to affection
After several botched hook-ups, she had to 
get into the ring herself
She also invited two of her siblings and 
three friends
She told them what it was all about
Listen to the men, sleep with them, be tender 
and compassionate
Don't fall in love, its all for the money
And that was how they started making money!
She had an agreement with the Drivers, 
security/protocol officers
of the oil companies, her organization had a 
relationship with
If any of the expatriates hinted to either 
the driver
or the protocol officers that he or she 
needed some company
She would be the one to get the assignment!
The business was quite lucrative
It was almost risk-free
The clients they catered to were as afraid of 
contracting
sexually transmitted diseases as they also were
The protection on that aspect was guaranteed
Some of the clients did drugs and wanted 
kinky sex
But they coped!
That was where she was when they met
He was an engineer with a gas company
He was not an expatriate
He walked into her office one day and she 
liked him immediately
They started talking and chatting
She didn't hide anything
He told her everybody has a past
He wanted to marry her!
WOW!
She jumped at the idea
He had his conditions 
I) She must stop the corporate prostitution 
business
2) She must leave her oil servicing job
He insisted he was doing well and had more than 
enough money to meet their needs
As a gesture of goodwill, he transferred 
five million into her account
He told her to save it and consider it an insurance 
fee in case things went sour and they broke up
She liked his heart
He was sincere
They got married!
She had her first child immediately after they 
got married
They had a glorious home
His family members treated her as one of them
She couldn't have asked for more
Then he got involved with Union issues at work
He got sacked
She sued the company immediately
It was a matter of justice and pride for him
He spent all his money on the court case
Eventually, he asked her to give him her 
"insurance" money
She gave it up
He spent it on the court case 
He lost and left them broke and penniless!
She couldn't sit still and watch her daughter 
starve
She made frantic phone calls
She desperately needed a job
Her younger sister told her about a Korean product
A network marketing deal
She started pushing it and she excelled
Within six months, she was made the regional
head of sales for West Africa for the product
all her contacts in the oil servicing business
bought into the product
The product was very good!
She was given two cars, two minivans and she
made loads of money
Her husband supported her
They started having more than enough
Then his family members came to their house
one Sunday and said they had gone to check
spiritually what was wrong with his finances!
They said the spiritualist said "His wife had
used his glory"
It made sense to them!
It was total rubbish!
It degenerated into a bitter argument
Her husband defended her
His people attacked her
They left after many hours!
Once they were gone she asked her husband
why he had not been taking care of his family
members as he used to
Her husband said he didn't want to spend 
her money as if it was his!
She had never wanted anything more than to be at
peace with her in-laws
She was three months pregnant at the time
She traveled to America to deliver her baby!
When she returned home after three months
She noticed that he had changed totally
His language reflected that he had come to
believe what his people told him
She felt it was a passing thing
Once he got a job, he would be thinking 
right again!
ON the day her daughter clocked one
They dropped the children in school
She went off to work
When she returned home in the evening
She met an empty house
Her husband had taken the children and vanished!
He left her a note "I have taken back my 
glory, you witch"
She called the children's teacher
The teacher said her husband returned to 
the school
soon after they dropped the children to 
pick them!
She fell into depression
She couldn't think or function normally 
Her head was full of water and sharp noise 
for weeks
She was taken to a psychiatric hospital
The doctors tried everything
All she wanted was her children
She tried calling his family members and friends
She sent them messages
"Please just send me their pictures, I want
to see them and know they are okay" she begged
Nobody responded!
After several weeks, she got a message from one
of his cousins' wife
A picture of her children and husband in a mall
somewhere in America!
She started to mend immediately
The noise in her head stopped and the water
reduced!
Two weeks later she was discharged from the
Hospital
She called the family's travel agent to inquire
about traveling to America 
Later that night her husband called her!
He said "I have taken back my glory, you witch,
that's why you are all broken and haggard and I 
and my children are doing well! I heard you wanted
to come to America! If you go to the embassy you
will be arrested as an impersonator!
I submitted your death certificate and your 
published obituary at the embassy!
You are dead to the world!
I had to kill you before I could take my glory back!"
He rang off!
She called the travel agent
She knew he was in contact with her husband somehow
The agent told her what her husband said was true
She cried all night!
The next morning, the pain in her head resumed
She screamed and screamed 
The next morning, she was bundled to the 
hospital for treatment
One of her neighbours called the Brother in Jeans
and T-shirt
He went to the hospital to see her
She told him her story
He laid hands on her and told her to sleep
She slept for seventeen hours!
When the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt arrived 
the next day he asked her if she had given her 
life to Christ
She said Yes!
He gave her communion and they prayed in 
tongues for one hours!
The pain in her chest dissolved, the hole in her
heart got filled up with joy
As they prayed she suddenly started laughing
She laughed until she was rolling on the floor!
He said "Living for God is better than committing
suicide! That exit is the ultimate indication of
a lack of trust in God"
She nodded!
He blessed her!
The following week, her husband called!
He had been recalled by his office
He returned with the children
When she got home she met her children
in the neighbour's house
Her husband dropped them off and traveled 
straight to Bonny
She was able to hug and hold her children again!
She called the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
What do I do now?
He said "Do nothing, just watch! The Holy
Spirit does not do anything halfway! Don't act
unless the Holy Spirit gives you a specific 
instruction"
She waited for her husband 
One week, three weeks, two months...
He never came back!
After a month, she relocated with her
children to a smaller apartment
Her career was back on track and her children
were doing very well in school
She had been fully restored!
Her husband calls once in a while and sends
her some money for the children
But that was all!
After a year, her husband remarried and 
started another family
It was good news to her!
She called the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
and asked her if she might remarry
She was only 38 years old and didnt want
to live the rest of her life alone
He told her to follow the leading of the 
Holy Spirit!

PS: When couples start accusing each other
of using diabolical means in a marriage
The marriage is venturing into very shaky
ground!
Most marriages don't recover fully from it
The suspicion hangs like a volcanic ash
over the household
The accused, especially if innocent becomes
very sensitive
The accuser especially when it is without
evidence is caught in between swallowing 
the lie or insisting the lie was real!
A Born Again Christian's glory cannot be
used by anybody!
Nobody can touch a life that is hidden in Christ!

I pray for marriages today
All the voices trying to tear you apart,
the Lord shall silence them in your ears!
Amen!
May the Holy Spirit restore broken homes
and marriages in Jesus name
