The first real crime he remembered
himself committing was the most
audacious one
The unthinkable
The absolutely unexpected
The most scandalous ever
He impregnated a girl
He was all of sixteen years old
A model student who never seem to
get anything wrong
His parents have seven children
He was the third
He had never given them a day of trouble
By nature, he was very quiet and
measured
He was not an introvert, just didn't
have the time for trivial stuff
He was also very brilliant
He cleared his WAEC examination at
the age of fifteen
That was what opened the door
for the scandal
The girl he impregnated was eighteen
years old
The girl had written WAEC and GCE
twice respectively
The girl's mother approached his parents
to allow him to coach her
His parents didn't see anything wrong
with it
She started coming around
He took the task seriously
She really didn't
Somehow she got under his skin
Her touch was as light as a feather
She did things to him that made him
cry like a baby with pleasure
They started having sex a few weeks
after he started coaching her
She was his first
He couldn't say he didn't know the
repercussion or implication of
what he was doing
He just couldn't reconcile it
with reality at the time
She was his teacher in the real sense
of the word
He was the eager student
They had been at it for three months
before she got pregnant
It was like watching a bad movie
He was at the well fetching water
Somebody screamed his name
He hurried upstairs to his parent's
flat
There she was on her knees
Her father and mother seated
on the three-seater sofa
His own parents seated on the
two seater sofa adjacent to them
The atmosphere was as quiet as
the night
Her parents were quite rich
They were the richest family in their
community
His parents were both teachers
It was a very bad day
He was asked if he was responsible
for her pregnancy
He didn't understand what they were
saying
It didn't sink in
He just kept starring as if he was high
on bad marijuana
When his father landed a slap on his
face for starring without speaking
His mother rephrased the question
Have you been having sex with her?
He nodded!
There was no point denying it
They had a game they played
He would write everything he wanted
to do to her body before she arrived
in his house
She would also write everything she
wanted to do to him sexually
When she arrived for her daily lesson
They would exchange what they
wrote
Then they both would try and make
each other's dream a reality
He read a lot of things in novels
She was the perfect person to experiment
with
Anyway, she had all the notes they
exchanged with her as evidence
It was his handwriting
He even dated and added time to his
own notes
Her parents insisted they just wanted
to confirm who was responsible for her
pregnancy
The whole thing lasted two hours
It was for him the hour of darkness
His father almost had a heart attack
His mother's head hung in shame
He had done the worst thing ever
He had desecrated their trust
He was a disappointment!
Everything slowed down until he
got his admission
He couldn't wait to leave the stifling
atmosphere of shame and battered
pride behind
He went off to study law
She delivered a baby boy
His parents were at the naming ceremony
He couldn't make it because he was
writing exams at the time
She nursed the baby for a year
Dropped the baby with his parents
and went off to the Polytechnic Ibadan,
Eruwa Campus to study Business
Administration
They really didn't keep in touch
He never loved her and didn't want
anything to do with her
His parents told him she came around
often to check on the child
When he got to 500 Level, she went
off to Kaduna Polytechnic for her HND
The child was four years old at the
time
His mother told everybody who cared
to know that the child was her last-child
Her parents also dropped in often to
check on the child and buy provisions
and all for the child
The child was loved by all
The child, a boy, looked like him
The child even had his taciturn nature
He kept away from women as a matter
of principle
He couldn't afford to be foolish twice
He wouldn't forgive himself if he made
another "Mistake"
He graduated, did his law school and
NYSC
He got a job with a reputable law firm
in Lagos
She graduated too, served in Bayelsa
and moved back to Ibadan
She got a job with a media firm
and settled down to life
Then she began to call him
Asking him random and sometimes
"foolish" questions
"When are you coming to Ibadan?"
"It has been a while since you checked
on our son, he wouldn't recognize you
again. Will you come home and see him?"
He didn't get it
What did she want?
Then she began to spend weekends with
his parents
Claiming she came around to spend time
with their child
He kept quiet
He prayed she would meet somebody
and get married
She called him one day
She said "My love, when will you send
for me and our son. It is time to live
together as a family! Our son needs his
real parents in his life"
He didn't say a word
After cutting the call, he removed the
sim card
He knew she was trying to provoke
a conversation
If he reacted in any way, she would
capitalize on that and cry to her
parents
Her parents will meet with his parents
Something would have to be done
Both parents will summon them
Even if he says he wouldn't marry her
There would be so many things said
that he didn't want to say
He didn't want a confrontation
He didn't want a fight
He just wanted her to go away
Like an embarrassing mouth odour,
she refused to go away
Then he met his wife
It was unplanned and unexpected
She was a paralegal who came into
their law firm with a case she wanted
them to prosecute
It was a domestic violence case
He liked everything about her
She was single and responded
favourably to his advances
She told him she didn't want to
waste time chasing relationships
leading nowhere
He got the message
He told her about his child, he explained
that the only reason he had refrained from
having a relationship was because he was
waiting for his baby mama to move on!
She laughed at him
She told him he was the one nursing false
hope in his baby mama by remaining single
He never saw it that way
He met her people and he took her
home to meet his people
Finally, he was belling the cat
The reaction he got from his parents
are very positive
His mother especially had been praying
that God will give him a good wife
His son also took to his babe
The introduction was very good
A week after he took his babe home
His mother called him and told
him to put the marriage plans on hold
His baby mama and his people had
visited them at home that morning
Her parents told his parents they
heard he came home to have his
introduction
They wanted to confirm if it was true!
When it was confirmed, his mother
said his baby mama's parents started
insulting them
Claiming that they promised to marry
their daughter and broke the promise
According to them, many suitors came
for their daughter's hand in marriage
but their daughter shunned them all
because she was waiting for him to
fulfill his promise to marry her!
He never made any promise like that
His parents also made no promise
like that
His baby mama insisted they did
Her people insisted that such a promise
was made!
Her people swore they would fight his parents
with everything, if they refused to marry
their daughter!
Her father said "He had made a vow
before Sango (a local idol) when she was
born that the man who deflowers her
must marry her"
That was what got his mother's attention!
His mother wanted him to come home
so that they can resolve the issue
amicably!
He had suspected it all along
His baby mama had positioned herself
as a spoiler
He told his mother he was not the one
that deflowered her
She deflowered him!
She was the one with the experience
He was the innocent one
Was it because he was male?
What their daughter did was statutory rape!
And now she wanted him to compensate
her crime by marrying her?
He couldn't really place it but knowing
them, he knew they had a storm brewing
That was why he wanted her to move on
first
But love came for him and he couldn't
bid it wait!
He told his mother he would handle it
The following weekend, he went to meet
his babe's people officially
A wedding date was set
He got tailors to make his parents clothes
He invited them to Lagos on the weekend
of the wedding and briefed them
He made sure nobody in Ibadan had
an idea of what was going on
He got married on the third Thursday
in May 2013
It was a close family affair
They had a total of ten people in
attendance
His parents returned home in their
normal clothes
His wife got pregnant that month
But like all secrets that had more than
one keeper
The secret leaked!
He was at home with his wife on a
Sunday afternoon when she started
screaming
She didn't go to church that day
due to morning sickness
He also returned from church early
to help her with some things at home
She refused to have a housemaid
He ran to the room just in time to see
with his eyes wide open
A black snake bite his wife in the womb
and disappear
Blood was everywhere within seconds
He rushed her to the hospital
They lost the baby
He refused to tell her what he saw
She told him she saw herself in
a forest being pursued by a snake
charmer who had a house full of snakes!
She never got pregnant again
The doctors found nothing medically
wrong with her
When they tested him
They found many problems
They said he had azoospermia
His semen had no sperm in them
He told them he had a son before
They told him it was almost impossible
because the azoospermia they detected
was a rare one
He just laughed!
His wife was willing to adopt his son
But they were afraid his baby mama
would use the opportunity to come to
their house and wreck some havoc
They continued to wait and pray
In January 2019, he met the Brother

in Ajah

As things stand, everybody believed the
issue was with him but he knew what
he saw!

They talked and prayed
He told them a spiritual mirage is
an optical illusion caused by spiritual
manipulation, especially the appearance
of a scary or symbolic object to elicit
a mental shift or physical reaction in
the reality of the target!
He told them they are both fertile and
able to produce children
The only problem was the image they
saw
The wife saw a snake charmer
The husband saw a snake bite his wife
They needed to do away with that image
It was a lie!
The evil one deliberately supplanted their
reality with lie!
They had been living their lives in conformity
with what they were made to see
They needed to change that by seeing the
word of God!
That is a reality that is above all!
He told the husband to lay his two hands
on the wife's head
He told the wife to lay her two hands
on the husband's shoulder
He laid hands on both of them
He commanded a change of reality
by the power of the Holy Spirit
When they were done praying, he
gave them some scriptures to read
together
When they got home that afternoon
They saw the same black snake in
their room
It was alive but docile
It just laid there...
He called the security man
They killed the snake and burnt it!
His wife called the Brother in Jeans and
T-shirt
He told them they do not have to see
the snake for the prayer to be answered
The superimposed mirage had been lifted
That very month, she got pregnant!
She delivered a set of twins in '

A male and a female
The babies were perfect
They named them Bolu and Bola

The baby mama finally married an Iron rod

reality where nothing of the world or
any realm would matter but what the
World says!

Then there is a realm where human reality
can be tampered with to mirror a certain
projection by the enemy
You always become what you see!
What you see is what you are shown
So whoever controls what you saw would
control your reality
