Scriptural Principles For Walking In The
Impartations We Have Received.
Principle Number One:
KNOWING WHAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED!
While some of God's children did not
know what exactly it was that they
received when they were imparted,
some function below the possibility
they have been brought into
because they do not know that
there is more to what they think
they have received.
For instance,I have asked some
Believers to tell me Who and what
they received when they received
the Holy Spirit.
Some of them told me that THEY
RECEIVED TONGUES BUT THEY
STILL LACKED POWER.
I told them that they have received
power when they received the Holy
Spirit according to Jesus Christ.
Acts 1: 8. But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come
upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto
the uttermost part of the earth.
I told them that what they received
is MORE THAN TONGUES, that they
have been brought into Oneness with
Christ (1 Corinthians 6:17) and that
they're now GOD'S MOBILE TEMPLE.
2 Corinthians 6: 16. And what
agreement hath the temple of God
with idols? for ye are the temple of
the living God; as God hath said,
I WILL DWELL IN THEM, AND WALK
IN THEM; and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
I also told them that when the Holy
Spirit came to live in them, He came
with everything He has in His fullness..
And that means they have access to
everything that belongs to the
Holy Spirit.
Some Believers believe that when
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10
"To one is given by the Spirit the
word of wisdom, to another word
of knowledge by the same Spirit etc",
he was letting us know that no
single Believer has all those nine
gifts he mentioned,and that we
individually can only function in
some of those gifts and not in all
of them.
If they only knew that they have
received all those gifts when they
received the Holy Spirit, they
would have been more open to
the operations of ALL the gifts
and not limit themselves to one
or two.
When I came into that understanding,
I expected the manifestations of
ALL those gifts through me.
And I have walked in and still
walking in all of them.
In reality, I have actually seen all
the nine gifts manifest through me
in a single meeting on Sunday
morning while I was a guest minister
in one of the branches of RCCG
back in 1997.
Hallelujah!
When you know what you have
received,it is easy for you to walk
in it.
Peter said to that lame man at the
Beautiful Gate
".... SUCH AS I HAVE, GIVE I THEE..."
Peter knew what he had received
and it was easy for him to walk in
the reality of it.
It is therefore important for us to
know exactly what we have received
through an impartation and what
possibility we have been brought into.
Do we know what we have received?
