Sin is not Spiritual for YOU in Christ
Sin was a Spiritual problem because it took away the provision of God for man to live eternally. Adam had eternal life until he ate the forbidden fruit, his disobedience cost him his place in the Garden of Eden and made him an entity who tastes death. He was not meant to be mortal, he was not created for mortality, he was not made for corruption. He was created with the divine nature of God. Suddenly, he lost that nature because of sin, this problem was what Jesus came to fix. A man who is not born again is a sinner and sin is a factor that is standing in this man's way of seeing God and embracing the provision of God for all men to conquer sin which is JESUS CHRIST.
A man who is born again has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, he automatically received the power to NOT Perish which is eternal life (John 3:16). This born-again Christian therefore is no longer a sinner, his nomenclature changed after he had received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. He has become a saint. You cannot threaten a saint with sin, it was the very first thing he conquered forever the moment he gave his life to Christ. You cannot tell him God is angry with him or her because he or she has conquered sin forever and it is sin that separated him from God in the first place. He or she is free to live an eternal life of joy and fulfillment every day of his or her life. Instead of being sin-conscious as a way to avoid the wrath of God, he or she becomes righteousness-conscious and lives a good and wonderful life of great impact and grace through the leading of the Holy Spirit. You have no right to introduce "sex" as his Achilles heels and tell him sex will diminish or erode or kill or destroy or make incomplete or render useless the finished work of redemption which Jesus did on the cross. Your obsession with sex as a Christian is a psychological and emotional strong hold you need to rid yourself of as Apostle Paul instructed in 2 Corinthians 10:4: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” You cannot introduce any sin to the life of a believer. Sex is not one special sin that Jesus forgot to deal with on the cross You cannot elevate the smaller above the greater, it is like saying a man died of cancer, the man is dead but you are crying that you did not cure the cancer. Cancer was the lesser evil, death was the greater evil. If you stopped the man from dying, you have automatically rendered the power of the cancer useless. Nobody should ever say sin is spiritual when he or she is addressing the saints. In the same way, you cannot say sex is spiritual when you are addressing the saints, you can say sin is spiritual when you are addressing unbelievers, you can also tell them sex is a form of sin and it can lead to their eternal damnation but the moment that person accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, such terminologies no longer apply to him or her so what if he or she has sex outside of marriage or before marriage etc. The Bible gave us a great example in the early church,1 Corinthians 5: 5, it is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: A man is sleeping with his father’s wife. 2 And you are proud! Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning and have put out of your fellowship the man who has been doing this? 3 For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus on the one who has been doing this. 4 So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present, 5 hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh,[a][b] so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 2: 5-8 Forgiveness for the Offender 5 If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you to some extent—not to put it too severely. 6 The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient. 7 Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8 I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him. Notice that Apostle Paul did not call this man a sinner, he did not say this man will go to hell or get attacked by demons or get cursed by God or die in an accident because he has lost his covering or become unfortunate in life because of what he did. The church punished the man and after that, Apostle Paul said to embrace and love him. The issue was dealt with in the flesh, not in the SPIRIT because it is no longer a spiritual issue. He was not asked to give his life to Jesus for the second time or rededicate his life. He was urged to see the error of his ways and to turn a new leaf for the sake of his testimony as a saint. This is the true position, the Identity of a saint has procured for every believer. YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS!
