Seeing Through the Right Lens

Titus 1:15
"To the pure, all things are pure, but to
those who are corrupted and do not
believe, nothing is pure.
In fact, both their minds and
consciences are corrupted"
This scripture is simply saying that all
things are pure if seen through the
mind of Christ and approached through
the word of Christ but nothing is pure
if released through a corrupt mind and
philosophies of carnal men.
Yes indeed to the pure all things are
pure.
"The pure" is a man who is born of
God and is actively engaging the mind
of Christ in his dealings with God and
men.
Such a man sees things the way God
sees them, loves what God loves and
hates what God hates.
Indeed all things are pure in themselves,
but if your mind is unclean or corrupt
towards something, out of your mind
shall flow a defilement which will makes
even pure things appear impure and
manifest as such.
For instance, talking of hard drugs?
Some of the drugs you call hard drugs
were made from herbs created by God.
Everything God created is good,
but some men with corrupt mind
have enhanced on God's creation
negatively and have further produced
things that constitutes an abuse of
God's purpose of creation, and this
in turn defiling many and hurting our
society.
Same thing with sex.
God created sex and made it between
male and female.
But man invented sex between men and
fellow men, between men and beasts.
God made sex for two consenting adults
but these days, we see sex manifesting
as rape and pedophilia, because of the
wickedness in man's mind.
It is not the drug or the sex that is the
problem, but the corrupt minds of men.
The abuse of God's purpose of making
a thing is what makes that thing appear
impure.
To drive it home, the pistol in your kitchen
is for pounding yam or cocoyam etc,
and not for breaking your spouses head.
If you abuse the purpose of that pistol it
doesn't make the pistol impure, but the
impurity is in your mind hence it
manufactured an abuse.
It is also worthy of note to say that,
anything man creates out of corruption
and with the intention of going against
the will of God, is impure from the
beginning!
The message here is that,
Truth is incorruptible but human
perception is corruptible.
Yes, to the pure all things will be
expressed purely but whenever truth
comes out "impure", it is either your
mind or the mind of the dispenser
that is impure.
The truth shall remain pure to the pure!
Even the Grace Gospel we preach is
dangerous in the hands of a man with
a corrupt mind.
A man with a corrupt mind will see
Grace as an opportunity to engage his
flesh however he wants, while a man
with a pure mind will express Grace as
Christ did - condemning no one but not
condoning defilement of any sort.
The mind of Christ is at work in us who
believe, and this mind works out the
counsel of God.
The issue is your mind, fix it to see as
Christ sees. Once this is done, you've
learnt to walk in wisdom.
We all have areas we need to renew our
minds in, but the key is to remain
teachable and not become haughty.
Grace is sufficient.

Identify the Source
"The content of the message is
defined by the origin"
That means we must know the origin
to know the kind of message that can
emanate from there.
Your prophet/prophetess told you
that God asked him/her to sleep
with you for "spiritual cleansing"
and you are still wondering whether
it is true or not.
You are told God sent you cancer to
teach you a lesson and you believe it?
Some of us still accept "prophecies"
that birth only fear in us constantly.
You'd be shocked that Christians still
go to sacrifice animals in exchange for
their lives.
You will be more shocked that it is
done in church.
They will tell you that he is a born
again witch doctor
As ye have therefore received Christ
Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Rooted and built up in him, and
established in the faith, as ye have
been taught, abounding therein
with thanksgiving.
Beware lest any man spoil you through
philosophy and vain deceit, after the
tradition of men, after the rudiments of
the world, and not after Christ.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of
the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:6‭-‬9 KJV
Those that know their God, please in
