Speak Forth The Mind Of God

Speak Forth The Mind Of God

Prophecy is in two categories: “Foretelling” and “Forth-telling.” To foretell, according to the scriptures, means to tell ahead of time things in the mind of God concerning a person or people, places or events.

“Forth-telling,” on the other hand, means to speak forth, tell out, or tell forward what is in the mind of God. It’s the declaration of events in the mind of God or the declaration of a particular Word from God to an individual, people, place, or event for a particular time.

To prophesy, therefore, would mean to speak words of power, words filled with the ability of God to cause changes and make things happen. Whether you’re foretelling events or speaking forth the mind of God concerning an issue, person(s), place, or event, as long as it comes to pass, it’s a word of power.

This means such words must contain a divine ability to make them come to pass. They must be from God and be inspired by His Spirit. That’s what prophecy is, because you spoke ahead of time and your words came to pass!

TGod expects us to prophecy-talk our way out of any negative situation, rather than wait for him to do something. That's why He said, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy"

This is the reason you must fill your heart with the Word, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). When your heart is saturated with the word, right in the midst of trouble, the Word will well up in you and burst forth through your mouth! It doesn't matter how dire the challenge you're confronted with might seem, you can talk your way out of it.

This was what the Lord told Ezekiel to do in the valley of dry bones: "And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD." (Ezekiel 37:3-4)

Ezekiel found himself in a valley full of dry bones and the Lord asked him, "Can these bones live?" That was an impossible situation, but God told Ezekiel to "prophecy to the bones." As soon as Ezekiel complied, a great miracle took place: "... and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone" (Ezekiel 37:7)

The challenges you face are bread for you; refuse to let them drown your faith. No matter how dry the valley may seem, you can talk your way out of it- you can prophecy your way out of any predicament. Keep talking your health, success, prosperity and victory. You can talk your way out of any trouble into the good life God has ordained for you.

(Acts 2:17). To prophecy means to speak words of power. Meaning you can prophecy your way to the top; you can prophecy your way out of trouble, into the good life!

Don’t just talk from your head, speak words of faith! Speak from your heart.

The Bible tells us how Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into a fiery furnace. While in the furnace, they were unruffled.

They didn’t even pray to God to bring them out of the fire. But guess what God did; instead of bringing them out of the fire, He joined them as the “fourth man in the fire.”

The Bible says there wasn’t even the smell of smoke on their skin let alone being burnt. God doesn’t have to bring you out of the fire. He already said in Isaiah 43:2, “…when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

It makes no difference what pressures and obstacles you face in life; what’s important is that the Lord is with you and in you. He’s your peace in the midst of the storm. Is there a situation that has made you fret or given you sleepless nights? Relax. Jesus is your peace.

Someone says “I’ve been praying to God to help me out of my situation, but nothing has changed!” Well, it’s your responsibility, not God’s to effect a change in that situation by proclaiming the Word of faith. God’s responsibility is to send you His Word; His Word is the ingredient you require for change.

The Bible says in Psalm 107:20, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”

God saves, heals, transforms and delivers through His Word. His Word is dependable, and you can apply it to every circumstance of life. No matter how terrible your condition may look, God’s Word can work for you and bring about the change you need.

Even if you wanted things to go from good to better or better to best, God’s Word can still work for you. The Bible says, “For the word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing and effective]…” (Hebrews 4:12 AMP).

That means God’s Word has the inherent power to cause the required change in your circumstance. When you receive the Word into your spirit, it produces in your life what it talks about. For example, if you receive God’s Word on healing and act on it, it’ll produce healing in you; in the same way, your finances will be improved when you act on God’s Word concerning your finances.

Never become scared or discouraged by the enormity of any challenge. Don’t surrender to a life of fear, failure and complaints. Rather, devote quality time to studying God’s Word, especially in the area where you require a change. But don’t stop there; meditate on the Word and speak faith-filled words, and everything about you will catapult to excellence.
