The Mystery Of Christ II

The Mystery Of Christ II

When you receive Christ, what did you get?

When you became a Christian, and believed

in Jesus, what did you get?

Some preachers don’t even know.

Knowledge isn’t given to you just because

you’re a minister of the gospel.

You’ve got to learn

When you became a Christian, what

happened to you? If you don’t know,

you would be somewhat afraid of the

virus that is being peddled.

When the word of God is shared,

it brings you out of any situation.

It’s either Christianity is true or

practicable, or we throw it away.

Because the world wouldn’t get

better, with another religion.

 *Without the supernatural,

Christianity is another dead religion*.

In Christianity, the Christian person

must live the supernatural life.

What a lot of people know about the

supernatural in Christianity is praying

for people, getting answers to prayer

requests and helping others.

Christianity is not the preaching.

It is not what you do when you’re

carrying out the service.

There is a Christian life that you should

live on a daily basis.

The word ‘receive’ is from the Greek

‘paralambano’, which means to take

one to oneself, in partnership.

Jesus Christ was saying after he has

prepared a place, he will come and join

himself with us.

John 14:16-18.

He will come to us in the Holy Spirit:

he is come back in the Holy Spirit to

join himself with us. You have to know this.

Many Christians are not living the

Christian life, but the Christian religion

which is the outward talk of the Christian life.

Christianity is divinity in humanity.

The expression of the divine.

John 14:20: that day being referred to, is

talking about the day of the church.

He will paralambano us.

This won’t happen at the rapture or in

heaven, but now, the day of the church,

through the Holy Ghost.

Hebrews 1:1-3: Jesus is the icon of the father.

You wanna see God, you look at Jesus.

The book of John was written long after

the other synoptic gospels.

It was written about the time, the

Pauline epistles were written.

So he brings us to a close call about

the church, but still stays on the focus

of the life of Jesus.

John 1:12-13. Here is talking about us,

the God-man.

vs 14: he goes back to talking about

the word.

vs 16: He’s talking about what we

received in Christ, an abundance of grace.

John 14:20: Jesus is in the father, we in him,

he in us. This is huge! He is talking about

the Christ.

Ephesians 1:21-23. With the Holy Ghost coming,

Jesus becomes joined to us, and we have

become one.

The church is the full expression of God.

The church is his body.

John 15:26: Who is the spirit?

He proceeds from the father.

It helps you understand how God carries

out his work, everywhere and through us.

Hebrews 2:3-4: the word gift is from

the Greek ‘merismos’, which is rendered

as distributions.

The Holy Ghost is being distributed from the father.

Hebrews 4:12: the word dividing asunder

is ‘merismos’. It therefore means that the

distribution of the Holy Ghost, which is

still distinct from that which has been

distributed from the Spirit that is

distributed from the father.

Paul talks about the distribution of the spirit, when we lay hands. Now when we lay hands, we are distributing the Holy Ghost, from us. Who is complete and distinct.

There is the general mystical body of Christ, but each individual Christian is also the body of Christ, with the Holy Ghost in fullness, distributing him, and when he is there he fully here and distinct generally, and is still personal, distinct and in fullness in the individual.

So the Holy Ghost is in the general body of Christ, and full and complete in the individual Christian.

1 Corinthians 1:26-30:

Ye, here refers to the plural sense. Here he is talking saying that we emanated from Christ Jesus, with the Holy Ghost in us. So in the mind of God, we are from God. We come out, we hail from Christ Jesus in God!

1 John 4:4.

What is in us greater than anything in the world. Jesus said cheer up, I have overcome the world. What did you receive.

When you got born again, the old life was supplanted by the new life. God tabernacled in us.

Christianity is no religion; wake up to the knowledge of God, and live the life you have been given.

The problem of Christians is not faith, it is a problem of knowledge and understanding. Every Christian has been given the measure of faith. In the New Testament, we are not admonished to have faith. So you don’t need to muster or squeeze up any faith. Just have the knowledge and speak reality (his word).

1 Corinthians 2:12.

When we got born again, we received the spirit of God, not the spirit of the world. The know here is ‘eido’, which is the know-how knowledge. That's applicable knowledge. Have you been listening to the Holy Ghost, so he can give you the knowledge that can be applied, which you can use in your life. Here also the ‘eido’ knowledge is different from the gnosis, Ginosko, or epignosis.

The knowledge we speak. You can preach about health and life, and not walk in it. Start speaking health, and not about it.

There’s a difference between “I’m not going to get it”, which is an argument; an unnecessary one at that; and “I don’t get it”.

Which means sickness is inconsistent with your nature.

Cats don’t bark; cocks don’t roar. Lions roar, it’s inconsistent with their nature. This pulpit don’t get sick, it’s inconsistent.

Speak the word! l don’t get sick, and your body responds. It’s not a faith thing, it’s a knowledge thing. You already have faith. We are not trying to confess so that we can have it; No! We say it because it is true. This is what the Holy Ghost has taught us.

There are three cardinal things we receive when we got born again:

The three primary gifts when you become a Christian.

1. Eternal life

2. Righteousness

3. The Holy Spirit.

If you understand this, think what would happen with your life. There will be no fear in your life, if you recognize or understand this.

If you don’t have the Holy Ghost any disease can get you. The life of God in you, repels disease.

What do you know about what has been given you? How do you live the Christian life, the supernatural Christian life, from day to day.

We are not pray for ourselves, we just live and walk in his light. We have fellowship with one another. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sins. When You walk in the light, health oozes out of you. For we are members (melos), limbs, of his body, of his flesh and of his bones.
